Un bistro parisien à la New Yorkaise. Un restaurant de 370 m2 avec une sensibilité contemporaine, qui rappel tout de même l'ambiance nostalgique d'un bistrot parisien authentique. Des tables de bistrot rondes en marbre et des chaises en osier débordent sur le trottoir, offrant l'impression d'observer les gens le long du boulevard Saint-Germain. Zinc Bistro dispose également d'un patio romantique isolé au fond du restaurant, éclairé par des bougies le soir, créant une ambiance inoubliable, ou une atmosphère de détente à proximité de notre fontaine dans l'après-midi. Le bar à huîtres se trouve à l'extrémité du bar en zinc de 7,5m, servant un plateau de fruits de mer, ainsi que tous les accompagnements. Les coquillages arrivent quotidiennement, garantissant la fraîcheur des huîtres, palourdes, moules, et du homard dans le désert.

                                                                                          Absolutely marvelous experience. We were seated in the inside courtyard and it was delightful. Bobby, our server, was professional, knowledgeable (we asked about the freshness of the Washington State mussels on the menu) and knew what he was talking about. The hamburger was the best ever. No need for catchup. The rye bread on the chicken salad sandwich was amazing. And then there was the desert soufflé - ooh la la was that amazing. Highly recommend!

                                                                                          Such a disappointment! The decor/ambiance looked great in the photos, and the menu looked perfect — a charming French bistro! I was super excited to have a traditional, hearty French onion soup, but it was anything but hearty — more of a weak and almost vinegar tasting watery broth. And the fois gras? It was difficult to find the very small & very thin single piece among all of the lovely accompaniments, and I kept looking for more. Could they possibly charge $28 for one 1 x 3” piece that was barely 1/4” thick? Unfortunately that’s exactly what we received. The truffle fries were also a disappointment as there was little to no taste of truffle salt. Our server was terrific and the ambiance lovely, but acoustic tiles might help dampen the loudness — it was difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices. Unfortunately we won’t be returning because the food was completely underwhelming.

                                                                                          We would usually give Zinc 5 stars, not last night My steak frites was superb. Peppercorn sauce was Not. My partner had the chicken and was very disappointed. She couldn’t find any potatoes and The chicken was, while edible, less than expected from a flavor perspective. Our Server was barely Engaged with us. Other than taking our order, we had No interaction. No “ how is your meal”, no “can I get you another glass of wine”. I won’t name her because Maybe she had something going on. However, your Tip was less than normal. Servers need to earn good Tips. You did not.

                                                                                          Wait person Viviana must have been having an off day. Not friendly, barely any service. Had to ask another waitress to ask for help. Not usual Zinc Bistro standard.
