The zibibbo grape, also known as Muscat of Alexandra. It is considered an “ancient vine” and some wine experts believe it is one of the oldest genetically unmodified vines still in existence. This vine made it’s way to Italy in 1773 from the arabic nations where the name was zibibb. Italy had the perfect climent and rich soil for the vine. This made italy a recognizable country in wine making. Zibibbo73 Ristorante & Raw Bar in Stafford, VA. brings a taste of the old world cuisine in a modern setting, to our area. With fresh simple recipes, fresh herbs and vegetables, naturally raised meats and fish. The finest cheeses and pasta on the market. Topping it all off with friendly top notch service.

The food is phenomenal! We needed to adjust our reservations by an hour and they were so accommodating and so friendly. Mind you, this was Valentines Evening as well. Very busy and could have told us no. We will be back!!!

From the cocktails and bread to the gelato and coffee, our anniversary dinner at Zibibbo 73 was perfect. The red sauce was spot on, not too sweet not too bland. Calamari, spaghetti carbonara, Bolognese, and the nightly special osso bucco with pork instead of lamb were splendid. Service attentive and knowledgeable. Overall a place we'll be returning to without doubt.

Amazing food and service. And the best dirty martini! We eat here every time we visit the Stafford area.

This is a consistently great dinner in Stafford. Amazing food, large portions, lots of options. Amy has been our server multiple times and is really attentive, proactive and kind to my kids. I recommend the Marsala, arancini, profiterole cake and their bread is fantastic

Nice setting. Service was excellent. Prices are reasonable, given the large portions. Good selection of wines. Food was good, not great. The salads were fresh & very good. The cup of Italian wedding soup was good. Their cup was the size of a bowl in most restaurants. Three of us had dishes that had tomato based sauce, Chicken Parmesan, Veal Parmesan & lasagna. All of us thought the sauce was both too sweet and too acidic. My wife enjoyed the Chicken Milanese.

Zibbibo’s has been the standard for all sit down restaurants in Stafford, VA. They are always top notch and never disappoint. 5 stars!

Server recommended chicken marsala when I asked what gluten free options there were. It was 2 thin chicken breast pieces with no seasoning or grilling whatsoever, brussel sprouts, and plain penne pasta. There was the smallest hint of marsala in a puddle of pasta water- that was the only sauce at all. Pasta was stuck together and underdone and was substituted for mashed potatoes for some reason? Guess they have gluten? There were a few random pieces of mushroom, zucchini, and squash that were completely dehydrated like chips. Overall just an inedible, disappointing meal. Rest of party was satisfied with meals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our NYE dinner at Zibibbos. Food was great, service was excellent, and the ambiance was delightful. Our server honored our wish to eat more slowly, sharing our first and second courses brought out separately like they are in Italy. He recommended excellent cocktails and great wines. We had an outstanding experience. Highly recommend!

We stop for the night in Stafford every year on our way to or from our east coast homes. We look forward to cocktails, a yummy meal and bottle of wine at Zibibbo 73.
