    It was a very busy day for Zehnder’s. It was very difficult to even find a parking space. I understand, it’s two days after Christmas. Normally even being as busy as it was the service is typically still good. We were supposed to have reservations for 2:15 but wasn’t seated until 2:25. Our server “Kendall” wasn’t even average. We had 4 people at our table and the serving amounts were not adequate for our table. We had to immediately ask for additional food. It took him along time to bring the additional food. I get it he had a few tables he was dealing with but each person is important. He seemed inexperienced at having to keep up with the amount of people he had to serve. It was my birthday dinner and normally the server asks if we want dessert saying the birthday person receives a free dessert. Kendall never asked me if I wanted the free sundae. Your also, the birthday person is supposed to receive their meal free. Kendall was told it was my birthday month and was given my card and yet still charged me for four meals. I understand many college students are hired by Zehnders to assist them with jobs while they go to college. I don’t know if Kendall is one of those hires but I was very disappointed in the service he provided. He could use some additional training. Our entire dinner took about an hour and a half by the time we were seated. There were times that we wondered what happened to our server as Kendall seemed to be missing. We will likely return to Zehnder’s as we’ve been eating there for many years and have enjoyed our time there. This was one exception.

    We had the chicken dinner and as usual, it was delicious. We don't care too much for the stuffing and squash but other than that - scrumptious. It was my birthday, so I had a free meal.

    Table for 11 with over half ordering family style, yet small dish of food items brought, which did not have enough for 4 servings. Some sides were refilled. No more chicken brought or offered. Boxes brought before everyone was finished eating. Ice cream offered at the same time as bills. Atmosphere is always good. This was my third visit in the last 6 months and the worse, even though it was not as busy as previous visits

    Highly overrated and expensive. Otherwise the restaurant is well decorated especially during christmas.
