As always service was excellent. Arugula salad very tasty. My lobster ravioli was very good but a bit rich for me. I should have chosen something else, but that is on me and not because the dish wasn't very good. Wife had the Festa di Mare. They did offer the Cleopatra but that is a lot of food (we have had before and will have again - but not tonight). Also excellent. Finished off with Tiramisu which is one of the best if not the best around.

Our server ( Elizabeth Taylor ) was an absolute delight. She ensured we enjoyed ourselves and was a wonderful host. The food was fantastic.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner at Zeffirelli Ristorante recently. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. When looking for a fine dining restaurant in Northern Virginia, Herndon is not the first location that comes to mind. However, this restaurant is one of the best in the region. We have eaten here multiple times and have never been disappointed. We appreciate that consistency and don't hesitate to take guests here. The meal begins with some very tasty bread made by one of the chefs. As a starter, we highly recommend the vegetable soup - it is probably the best that either of us has ever had. It is listed on the menu as minestrone, but there is no pasta in it. Their specialty is a 16 oz. veal chop, which is quite pricey, but worth it. This night I had the stuffed pork chop and my wife had the rack of lamb. Both were excellent. Other entrees that we have particularly enjoyed are the cannelloni, halibut, and sole. The deserts are outstanding, particularly the tiramisu and the panna cotta. Eating at this restaurant is a relaxing way to enjoy an evening. The service is friendly, there is plenty of nearby parking, and the noise level is lower than most restaurants are these days.
