Le Yoshi a servi les meilleurs plats traditionnels japonais aux clients du quartier Bay Area depuis 1972. A large busy open dining experience before a show is a great way to start the evening. Staff is very friendly & helpful. The menu is sparse but the fish/sushi is fresh but expensive. But you can have a quick bite instead of an entire meal. After dining you line up to find your seat. I like the smaller venue, not a bad seat in the theater, as opposed to thousands of people. I recommend Yoshi’s for a fun night out in Oakland. Take the ferry, drive and park in the huge parking garage next door to Yoshi’s. The Average White Band brought back many memories and continued rocking out the crowd with their soulful band.

We got there and there was a long line because we got there before the restaurant opened. But, they sat everyone very quickly. The food was delicious, and our server very attentive. We had a wonderful time.

The food was great. Service excellent. Our food came out fast and it was piping hot. Just delicious!

Enjoyed the Blood, Sweat & Tears performance and then had an amazing Yoshi combination platter. Everything prepared to perfection. We love going to Yoshi’s and making a night of it!

Food is always delicious & there is beer, wine, mocktails & other beverages so everyone has a great meal. We look forward to eating there before EVERY music show we attend.

We had an amazing time at Yoshis‘s last night. The food was awesome. Our eyes got bigger than our stomachs and we ordered too much food. Our waiter Ken was fantastic.

We had tickets for the show. We were disappointed in the seats we were given. Waste of time patronizing a restaurant that claims to give you better seating if you have dinner before the show. We could barely see the artist on stage because of the people seating in front of us obstructing our view.

Date night for dinner and show! We saw Demola who is a personal friend! His show was amazing! We’ve seen him several times (he performed at my house twice in the last 2 years)! Audience was energetic! Yoshi’s is a perfect venue for a girls night out or date night with hubby/significant other!
