For the price point, my expectations of this restaurant were much higher. Our server didn’t exude the confidence that you typically would see in these high end places. I don’t even think he told us his name. He took the dinner order of the couple next to us before ours and they got there 15 minutes later. While my husband and I were not in a rush(on a long overdue date night), I would’ve liked a little more attention. My dirty martini with bleu cheese olives was amazing and my husband had an old fashioned which wasn’t bad. We started off with bacon which was top notch. A hint of sweetness with the saltiness, was incredible. Plus we had the caesar salad where they split it table side, but the server next to us who was building rapport with his guests had it split prior to bringing it out. No ground pepper was offered, maybe it wasn’t an option. Then we had the porterhouse for two. The gentleman that delivered it to our table was wonderful. He served the steak to both my husband and I. We had it cooked medium rare and it was amazing. We got the lobster mac n cheese which a friend had suggested. It wasn’t the greatest. I guess with lobster meat I would’ve liked a cavatappi vs elbow pasta. The pasta didn’t hold up to the flavor. In addition, we ordered mushrooms and onions which were pretty bland. Lastly we ordered the apple strudel dessert with vanilla ice cream. It was great. I had a baileys & coffee and my husband had an Irish coffee. They were not in a tall cappuccino glass and were put in a coffee cup. Loaded with mostly cream and not as much coffee. I’ve eaten at other high end steakhouses and personally expected a better level of service and quality. I wouldn’t have said as much if we didn’t spend the amount of money that was spent.

My wife and I love Wolfgang’s…but this last visit was a bit off…not quite sure if it was the fact it was very busy (which it was) or not. But service was subpar until I said something to the head waiter. We had to wait longer than usual for drinks. And also had to wait a bit to place our orders. We had a party of 6. Nothing too crazy. But substantial. We spent a good deal of money at Wolfgang’s last night and I felt that the overall package that we’re used to from this normally fantastic establishment was less than what we’re used too. The Chilean Sea Bass on one of the orders was a bit too fishy and one of the steak dishes was a bit overcooked. Also, I had made a request online with OpenTable when I made the reservation to acknowledge my wife’s birthday. That was the main event of the night and I chose Wolfgang’s as the place to be based on how much we usually love it. And, yet, there was zero acknowledgment of it. We will more than likely come back to Wolfgang’s in the future because of our past wonderful experiences with it. But the guests who were with us have already expressed their distaste with the experience we received last night.

This is always an outstanding special occasion dinner. Steaks are perfect. Service is fast and impeccable. Even the cocktails are fantastic. I wish sides were a slightly larger portion. And steaks used to be available in an 8 oz size: most women can’t eat a 16 oz filet so I would urge the chef to bring back that portion size of filet mignon. We celebrated a birthday and the desserts were also perfect. Noise level is very loud as acoustics are just terrible. We’ll be back!

Celebrated a birthday with my partner....very memorable evening....wait staff attentive... service impeccable .....Filet and Lamb chops cooked perfectly...sides enough for three! Topped off by birthday dessert and song by staff...onstreet parking available right by restaurant....just a perfect evening!!!

A couple of years ago, I thought the restaurant was very good as we had a great server. This time not so great. The service was not good. Felt pushed and then they did not come to check drinks, etc. Sakes a couple of time just to get water. Not eh best experience for the price you pay to eat there. Overpriced for the experience. Disappointed as I had my whole family there. Will not return.

Service was very rushed until we told waitstaff to slow it down. Entrees were brought out before salad course was finished. Also a salad and appetizer were brought out at the same time for one person.
