We went for a night out for my wife’s 40th birthday. We had a 530 res and it wasn’t busy at all. Very quiet. Nice ambiance. The food was very good. Excellent, unique menu items…particularly the starters and desserts. However, for the cost, the food was not exceptional for the expense. Average starter is 20-25, salad/soup 20-25, entree 50-60. All in, two starters, 4 entrees, 2 desserts, 4 adult drinks, 462 was the total, before tip. Pretty steep, but worth giving it a try. For the service, definitely not four star or four diamond. After being seated, our server’s helper filled our water glasses. Nice touch for sure, but the pitchers of ice water are steel and condensate. As the glasses were being poured, the condensation was dripping off the pitchers onto our side plates. Not ideal, but having been in the restaurant business in my past, sometimes nuances like that happen…not a huge deal, we easily wiped them off. However, after our appetizers arrived, she returned to refill the water glasses again, more condensation was dripping onto the artisanal cheese platter on the table. That was the end of that $33 dish. This can easily be solved with a linen around the pitchers when pouring. Our server seemed overly preoccupied after starters were served. She wasn’t around much, apologized a number of times for not being around, forgot drinks, etc…I’m not sure what she was tied up with because it was not busy at all, but something had her attention elsewhere. Most of the food that landed on our table, in general, was indeed very good. However, it was not so good to justify 115+ per person. Cheese platter was great, scallops app was great, steaks were excellent, short ribs were very good, sea bass was less than mediocre at best. Desserts were good. Unfortunately I can’t responsibly recommend this establishment as a viable high end option. It’s unlikely we will return for another try. If you don’t heed my advice and still go, stick with the steaks.

This is our fourth visit to Wildflowers and it is always a great time. Outstanding service from the hostess to the wait staff team. Food is excellent, highly recommend.

The BAR was crowded with a wedding reception party and was very hard to obtain a beverage.

Alana our server, management, hostess and all were exceptional and made the experience along with outstanding cuisine memorable. delicious, well served and above expectations for Syracuse!

Over all a great experience. We requested to be seated outside because it was a nice day. Unfortunately they were trying to start a real camp fire with a little difficulty. We got smoked out lol. After they got that under control the mosquitos tried to carry us away. Again we did ask to be seated outside so I do not fault them for that. I did however have a issue with the chairs. They were uncomfortable to sit in and it seemed like they did not have the right cushions for the chairs. The food was expensive but we did get what we paid for. My rule of thumb is I don't mind paying for food as long as it's better then something that I can cook. The chef is very talented. They not only hand good food but they tried to creat an experience around the meal. From the innovative palate cleanser to the French press coffee to the tableside hand churned ice cream. They did achieve a good experience. I would go back again for special occasions. We spent around 250 for 2 people that included a appetizer main dish wine and dessert.

The table next to us was LOUD, like drunk loud, one of the couples was drunk n fighting n I could hear the whole conversation, kind of ruined our romantic mood. The service was great, the amuse bouche at the beginning of our meal, phenomenal, and the young female busser who dropped but then caught the butter dish was very fast and we all laughed together about it.

The service was amazing and we learned about each dish. The timing of courses was spot on. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone. Third year in a row we celebrated our anniversary at the Wildflower.
