Quiet Saturday lunch with a friend, with wonderful service from Vasili. We enjoyed halibut and the filet duo as our entrees.

Though we had a reservation, we were seated at a booth in the bar area, so the ambience was lacking.

Service was very good. Both my husband and I had the halibut special. Was not as good as usual because it was dry. We were surprised how over cooked it was.

Went there for 2 birthday celebrations, first seating on Saturday night. Started with black bean and shrimp/crab soup. Both were good but lukewarm. The halibut special was ok, small portion. The king cut prime rib was very good and was medium rare as requested. My wife had the trio of filets, rare up. One was the proper temperature, one was medium and one was medium well. She cut into all three as soon as the dish arrived to check the temperature. She had a side of broccolini that was undercooked and cold. I had the beef Wellington, the special for the evening. I don’t think it ever went in the oven. The pastry shell was white and raw, the beef was cold and rare at best, the mushrooms and seasoning seemed missing. If your special was not ready for the first seating the kitchen should have told us and I would have ordered something else. We would have sent the two dishes back but we didn’t see our server until 10-15 minutes after our food arrived. I had ordered a Cabernet to be served with my dinner and had to ask 2 more times after our meals arrived before it came. In regards to the ambiance we were appalled at the attire worn by guests at 2 tables near us in the main dining room. One couple both had on gym shorts, underwear tank tops, one white, one black and flip flops. When seated at an elevated booth both proceeded to remove their flip flops and put their legs and feet on the seats stretched out and stayed that way for most of the meal. The next booth had a party of three and the woman wore cutoff jeans shorts, a bikini top with a tank top over it, and flip flops. She removed the flip flops and sat cross legged in the booth. I was facing these two booths and was forced to look at three sets of dirty feet the entire meal. We were aghast that the hostess would seat these groups in the Amin dining room instead of the bar area or back room. The one star is generous, worst meal and ambiance we have ever had at a Let us entertain you restaurant.
