Had a wonderful time. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was extremely busy. The bacon wrapped scallop was a perfect start to the meal. The steak and prime rib were tasty and cooked to perfection. Can't give enough praise for the red velvet cake almost beats the door county cherry pie. Wildfire is definitely a place to visit.

This place has really gone downhill. They are cutting corners everywhere! It was once an upscale steakhouse with amazing food and service. We went in with a reservation on a Sunday at 4:30. The place was swamped. We did get a great table (booth) so we were not being bumped into in the main room. That was a plus. The breadbasket came and there is no longer cornbread in the basket, Waiter told me I can buy it as an appetizer. The bread served was OK except for the dark rye that they put raisins in. Pretty gross. They did not seem fresh either. The French Onion Soup I ordered was good, but tiny. Less than an 8th of a cup of broth. Just seemed cheap! I ordered a burger for my meal, it was cooked to my liking but when I asked for some pickles, I was told there were no pickles in the restaurant and they quit serving them. My side dish was the au gratin potatoes, the plate was warm but the potatoes were room temp and congealed. Plus, they almost tasted sour. Not good. When the waiter asked how everything was, I asked to speak with management. Management never came. It took forever to get the bill and you have to be sure they do NOT add or sneak in service charges. Too many restaurant option in the area to pay for this overpriced food. It's sad, this used to be a favorite.

Very busy, so many people love it. Large parties. My lemon pepper chicken breast cutlets were over done. Not tender. Noisy. Hard for people to have a conversation. Nothing can be done about it. Popular. Wish they had one of their rooms designated as a relatively more quiet area.

I had high hopes for this dining experience, and while the food and service were great, the seating situation was a big disappointment. I made a reservation in advance (my wife's birthday), expecting to be seated accordingly, but instead, I was given the worst table in the restaurant. It was located in a high-traffic area with constant movement from staff and servers, making it far from a relaxing meal. To make matters worse, I noticed several open tables that would have been much more suitable, yet I remained stuck in an inconvenient spot. When the table next to me was seated, the space felt cramped, and I had no sense of privacy. While I appreciated the quality of the food and attentive service, the poor seating choice really took away from the experience.

My wife and I had our Valentine's Day dinner at Wildfire - Glenview, and we were surprised to see a Valentine's meal for 2 for a fixed price. The menu for this dinner had all the things we loved - bacon-wrapped scallops, Caesar salad, filet mignon, and Red Velvet cake! A great meal, and a great value!
