My friends and I had a wonderful dinner. The food was excelelnt, ambience is elegnt and wellcoming; and our waiter, Eddie, was superb. I can't remember the last time a server was as warm, informative, attentive and accomadating.

Bus staff accidentally dumped a water glass on my daughter in laws new fur coat. Our daughters turkey burger came out rare initially. Things seemed a bit off and the bummer was it was a birthday. The restaurant did comp a round of drinks and desserts and their response was professional.

I’m a regular customer, often visiting this restaurant for meetings hosted by pharmaceutical companies. The food is consistently delicious, so I decided to bring my mother for the Chicago Restaurant Week event, which runs from January 24 to February 9. For $60 per person, we enjoyed an appetizer, an entrée with a side, and dessert. My mother started with the French onion soup, which, unfortunately, wasn’t very tasty. She followed it with the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly, though the mashed potatoes were slightly too salty. I opted for the Caesar salad and the Parmesan-crusted New York steak with mushroom sauce. While the steak was cooked to perfection, the mushroom sauce was barely noticeable. It would have been nice to have an additional side, such as a vegetable, to balance the meal. Dessert, however, was exceptional. My mother took her cherry pie to go, so I can’t comment on that, but the chocolate cream pie I had was absolutely amazing! Overall, it was a positive experience. Our waiter was attentive and kind, which added to the pleasant evening. Also, the staff that cleans up after every course were super attentive and quick to pick up after us. One downside was the margarita my mother ordered—it was underwhelming. For the price, it was small and lacked enough alcohol to make it worthwhile. Despite a few minor flaws, I highly recommend this restaurant for its overall quality and service.

Lettuce REALLY needs to eliminate that 3% service charge. Too often we forget to ask them to remove it, and as Gold Members who eat out daily, we are hit disproportionately with that additional charge. And, all the restaurants have increased their prices anyway!

The restaurant was extremely busy as it was restaurant week, but they struggled with food prep. My steak was overcooked, the gluten free bread was a hamburger bun and the time between courses was really long. Overall, I like Wildfire and the server was great, but they didn’t do a great job this last time.
