From the decor to the jazz music, Wildfire has the style and warmth that makes it perfect for celebrating with friends or a quiet evening for two. The extensive menu features broiled steaks and chops, wood-roasted seafood and roasted meats, all prepared in an open kitchen. Signature dishes include Horseradish Crusted Filet Mignon, Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut, Wildfire Chopped Salad and Cedar Planked Salmon. Join us for a custom 5 course menu paired with a J Vineyards wine to complement. The evening begins with Pan Seared Sea Scallop paired with J Cuvée 20 Brut, followed by Bacon Wrapped Monkfish paired with J Russian River Pinot Gris, Smoked Duck & Butternut Squash Farro Risotto paired with J (Tri-County) Pinot Noir and ends with a Crème Fraîche Cheesecake paired with J Brut Rosé. Jeff Wehmeyer, E. & J. Gallo National Account Manager, will join us to discuss the pairings. Dinner begins at 6:30pm, please arrive at least 15 min early to check in. At the time of checkout, we appreciate it if you pre-select the gratuity for your service staff that evening to facilitate the check-in process. Event seating assignments are coordinated by Wildfire.

Olivia was our main server and we had other wait staff bringing food, drinks and clearing dishes as well. It as a lovely experience all around! Excellent service! Food was flavorful, perfect temperature, great ambiance. Highly recommend. We’re visiting from Texas and the only negative part is having to find parking.

Not as good as it once was. I remember this place being amazing. Service wasn’t great, food came before drinks, out of certain foods. Too bad.

It's been a long time since we've been to Wildfire both in the city and Oakbrook. Unfortunately we will not go back. We sat at our table for 30 min. before our server got our cocktails. It was not a busy time. Our filets were great but the beef tips were over done and very hard to cut. In fairness, they did send out a complimentary baked goat cheese for our wait . There are too many wonderful restaurants in Chicago to return to a marginal one.

The chopped salad was amazing - perfect mix of flavors and textures. We then had the crab and shrimp bisque which was hearty and flavorful. The scallops with bacon were cooked perfectly and came with an apricot sauce that was not overly sweet and completed them so well. The service was prompt and attentive and we can’t wait to go back.

I would typically rate Wildfire a 4 or 5, but this experience wasn’t what I was used to. In previous visits Wildfire was great,but this time the steaks weren’t great and not cooked perfectly medium rare like we like, a bit over cooked. Just a bit disappointed with this visit.

So I've been going to Wildfire for years but it is going down hill. I was shocked how empty it was on a Friday night but that should have been my first clue this restaurant has changed. No more martini flights, the signature drink, the dark and stormy is different, and most confusing of all, the apple martini isn't even green anymore. I tried the Edison (strawberry margarita)and it was awful. For the record, we did also eat but everyone's food was fine but unremarkable. Finally, even though COVID shutdowns were a while ago they still add a 3.5% restaurant surcharge. (It is removed upon request). I miss the Wildfire of 2000s and 2010s, this restaurant is a shadow of it's former self and sadly I will not be surprised if it is not around much longer.
