    We were outside, hence the high noise level, and 4 star ambience rating. Nothing to do with restaurant, our choice. And not the fault of the restaurant, av ery persistent fly insisted on trying to sample our soup, but found a table with better choices or more tolerant guests. We have eaten at Wildcraft often, and had to our favourites, wild mushroom soup and prawn spaghettini. The former, excellent as always, with at least six varieties of mushrooms in a distinctive creamy broth, and served hot enough to remain so even though outside. Same for the mains. My wife prefers less heat than they regularly make it with; there was no problem ordering one dish with less spice, and one regular. Kudos to the cook(s). The prawns are 5 very generously sized jumbo shrimp, grilled perfectly, to just the right "crunchiness". While we were there, the manager was "working" the room, stopping at our table twice to ensure everything was as ordered, and about half-way through our mains, asking if it was up to expectation. We had no complaint, but a gentleman at the next table noted a dish could have been brought at higher temperature, was instantly offered a replacement, and when he said he declined, had the dish taken off the bill, and was thanked for the feedback with the words, "if we are not told about our mistakes, we'll keep making them". That is is good good staff work! Our waiter. Alyssa, was obviously new at the job, but did an excellent job of being attentive without being intrusive. The comped chocolate layer cake for our anniversary was not expected, but welcomed, and she had obviously paid attention when we mentioned why we were there, and even the # of years was on the dedication, written with chocolate, in cursive! Altogether, a great experience, but then we've never had a bad experience at Wildcraft.

    We had a good time in Wildcraft. I visited the restaurant with my wife and my two boys. The environment and service were great. I ordered a W burger, which was a bit salty but not too bad. My boys ordered different kinds of steak. One of them, the onion, was overcooked or burned. My wife's food was excellent. Overall, the experience was nice, and I will definitely be back at the same restaurant and recommend it to friends as well.

She was highly attentive and courteous, demonstrating a genuine commitment to service.
