Hopefully this was an “off” night. Totally understaffed. We actually tipped a runner/bus boy because he waited on us more than the waiter who we never saw. It took a long time to order- over 20 minutes before someone came to our table. We had to go ask for more wine. We had to ask if we could order dessert…. We had to go find someone to get our check! The manager looked totally frazzled and literally ill, like she wasn’t feeling well.

They were overwhelmed for a convention and still managed to deliver a great dinner. My waiter was awesome and made suggestions when small plates I picked were not available.

Unfortunately the experience at White Oak was highly disappointing - beginning with the greeting (or lack thereof) when we arrived. The host was not hospitable (it was as if our reservation was an imposition) and it went downhill from there. Service was slow (e.g., no water refills) and multiple items on the menu were sold out which we found out little by little - the server returned to our table multiple times to tell us we would have to change yet another entree order due to lack of supply. One of our appetizers never arrived, and then last call happened at 9PM without anyone telling us, so we couldn't place an order of drinks. On top of that, the food was mediocre at best.

Wonderful experience. Food and service were outstanding. The environment was well lit and open giving a relaxed atmosphere. Went there two nights in a row due to quality, value, and experience. I wholeheartedly recommend!

The food was really good, but the service really made the experience go down hill :( We ordered our drinks & food and while we did get those items, we didn't see our server again...until he brought us the bill. We actually wanted to see a dessert menu, but we were fearful that we'd never see him again.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a delicious unqiue menu. The sunlight that streams in the dining room is such a nice experience. The wait staff is attentive, personable and knowledgeable about the menu. The music was a little loud but not obnoxious. The drinks were refreshing and there is an open bar. The dessert menu is a little limited. Parking garage is nearby.

Relatively small menu, but we really enjoyed the tuna poke and shrimp/crab cakes appetizers and fried chicken entree. Service was very attentive. It was a bit strange that on a Friday evening we were only one of 4 tables in the entire main dining room while there over 2+ hours.

Food was excellent especially since one of the guest is lactose intolerant. Our server Jonathan was wonderful and Yashrondra the bartender went above and beyond.
