We serve up tasty farm-to-kitchen dishes and cocktails, all made from scratch with ingredients sourced from local and regional farms and markets. We use slow-cooking methods on our wood grill and spit and in our smoker because it tastes better that way. Come dine with us at our communal tables, in one of our booths, on our sofas or rocking chairs, or perhaps on the porch next to the fireplace.

    Whiskey Cake’s banquet room is versatile, whether you wish to reserve only a portion of the room to host a dinner for a large group of friends, or if you are looking to buy out the entire room for a party or business engagement.“The Pen”, as we like to call it, seats up to 65 people and is equipped with a drop down projection screen and a separate sound system that can be used for presentations. We are able to completely close off the room from the rest of the restaurant to give you some needed privacy.

    We have come here a bunch of times for dinner but this was our first time for brunch. One of the best meals we've ever had. The apple French toast was amazing and the millionaire bacon was worth it. Will definitely be back.

    Family was celebrating late Christmas get together. We were seated in the indoor patio area which was quieter and allowed conversation. The service was excellent with our larger party and the food was awesome as usual. I recommend Whiskey Cake for anyone looking for a fun atmosphere and amazing drinks and food

    Always phenomenal food and service at Whiskey Cake. This was our first time at the Plano location and the quality was just as great! Everyone enjoyed their food and of course devoured the Whiskey Cake for dessert.

    Like many posts say, it is loud and difficult to carry on conversations. If you prefer quiet, I'd advise to go during less peak hours. It is too good to miss out bc of noise levels.

    The new menu seems considerably smaller than previous, with some notable previous good items gone. Food was still good. Ambience quieter than normal which was probably due to New Year day.

    For many years, Whiskey Cake has been one of our favorites for special occasions, and they never disappoint. The cocktails were fabulous. The goat cheese fondue is one of the best appetizers in DFW. And the entrees were sublimely prepared. Lastly, the whiskey cake dessert was perfect. We are so fortunate to have a sustainably-modeled, locally-sourced restaurant so close to home. The staff do a great job explaining everything on the menu. Whiskey Cake is always a 10/10 for us!

    We are not happy about the new menu. It’s missing chicken meatballs with the hummus, the hot hen, and chickenbirder sandwich.

    We hadn’t been to Whiskey Cake in a long time and chose it as it was across the street from the movie we were attending. We were very pleased with everything. Our reservation was ready within a few minutes, all 6 of us ordered something different so the variety was good and everything tasted great. My only complaint was the noise level. We could hardly carry on a conversation among the 6 of us as the people at the other tables were talking so loudly. It won’t keep me from returning but perhaps we’ll go a bit earlier.
