Food was good, may be a little bit on the expensive side. Oysters were fresh, but I had some shell in one of the three I had. Dill dip and the chips are delicious. The crab roll was also fantastic. You are definitely paying for the views. Wait staff/servers seem a bit disorganized. We saw our order go to the wrong table and it took more than a few minutes to figure it out.

Ridiculously overpriced oysters, not nearly as good as Taylor’s.

The service was excellent, and the setting very nice. $5 an oyster is more than anyone else is charging though, just FYI. The gem salad was delicious, but the pork chop was disappointing. Overcooked and oddly seasoned. I didn't get understand the flavor combinations (Cherry Macha?). But the active water view was fun.

I cannot remember the name of our server (he had great and artistic tattoos on his face). But he was a 10 out of 10. We loved his service, his vibe, and he enhanced our overall experience at Westward. Please let him know “job very well done.”

This restaurant has a beautiful setting – it’s right on the water and has outdoor seating. I’ve been here several times. Every time I leave, though, I’m left thinking how limited the menu is. This last time it was unfortunate that even though the restaurant was not busy, the food came out at different times for everyone, and the simplest order – bacon and eggs – didn’t come at all. When we asked about that order, it came with the bacon half done and the eggs overdone. We asked for more chips with our appetizer and they were delivered to the table next to us. So by the time we saw her again, we didn’t need them. I think she was trying hard, I think the place is beautiful, and what the menu offers is done well. But I found that it has a limited menu and lackluster service. I’m finding that all over Seattle though on the service part of things. In the end, though, my wife has made the decision that we will not return.on the plus side, there is a cool brewery that opened up right next-door called gasworks brewing, outdoor seating and a good menu. We popped over there after brunch and had a beer/cider. We will definitely go back there.

Awesome experience! Only suggestion I’d make is different music and volume in the evening.

We had a wonderful dinner of shareable appetizers and drinks! They Oysters were delicious and our server Holly was friendly and attentive while giving us time to enjoy each course! The outdoor seating makes the view of the water most enjoyable!
