The incredibly talented female chefs and leaders of Newport Restaurant Group are teaming up to prepare a four-course dinner in celebration of achievements of women. Chef Jennifer Backman from Castle Hill Inn will start things off by preparing the first course, Chef Mariana Gonzalez-Trasvina from Bar ‘Cino and La Vecina will be creating the second course and Chef Marissa Lo from Boat House will be overseeing course three. Your dessert will be the creation of Chef Camille Murphy from Castle Hill Inn. Stephanie Steed, the wine director at 22 Bowens, will be pairing each course wines from wineries with female winemakers with each course. It’s a truly unique event that highlights the current and future achievements of women in our industry. The dinner is Saturday, March 8th at 6:30 pm at Waterman Grille in Providence. The cost is $110 per person, tax and gratuity included. Credit Card payment only. A portion of the proceeds will be going to Sojourner House, a Providence-based charity that helps those affected by domestic and sexual abuse. Space is limited.

We had the pleasure of sitting outside before our PPAC date, John was a pleasure to have help us. We could not recommend him enough, very attentive and gave us such great pointers. My girl got the shrimp pasta and I was sold on the pork medley special, which was and should be a new winter staple of mine!

Great place for brunch- only disappointment was the size of the mimosa cocktail- It had to be the smallest flute I have ever seen! Other than that, the food, service and ambiance were great!

Quintessential New England style restaurant whose location is ideal! My partner and I had the pleasure of being served by Paul, who is remarkably funny & personable. We enjoyed a bit of every offering and left with full bellies and delicious memories. Would recommend making reservations as the restaurant and bar were jam packed at 5:30pm.

Good food,great service and lovely ambiance. We were a group of four adults and had a very enjoyable evening. We sat upstairs and it was quiet and very enjoyable.

Hands down...my favorite spot in Providence! Offers it all. Ambiance, flavors to entice all palates, and the best service. I enjoy sitting in the bar area. The brick walls embracing the warm fireplace and mood lighting...the best! Just had my birthday dinner there. 4th time there in 2 months😊. Our server was John. He was outstanding. His attention to detail was unmatched. I had to change my reservation 3 times because family members kept adding themselves. Waterman Grille didn't miss a beat on accommodating the change. 10 Stars!!!!

Food was delicious and Tommy our server was great. Ambience by the fire was so nice on a freezing night. Got there early and they kindly let me get seated at my table to enjoy a glass of wine. Will be back!

Best dining experience we've had for a while. I suggest the heated deck for afternoon brunch. Great food and service 🙂
