Welcome to our classroom! Waterleaf, located in College of DuPage’s Culinary & Hospitality Center, is a dining experience that offers real-life training to Culinary, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Hospitality students. Patrons will enjoy menus utilizing fresh regional and seasonal ingredients prepared by Culinary & Pastry students as well as attentive service from our student servers.
Limited seating is available at each event and reservations are required. Reservations may be made until an event is sold out. For parties of 6 or more, please call us directly at 630-942-2284.

The food and the service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back again. Such a great experience. Our server Jose was exceptional and one of the people in charge named Anthony was also amazing.

The food was amazing. This is a reastaurant for a culinary program at COD. It was the first service of the semester, so there were some serving glitches. But the students are all learning and will improve. That being said, the kitchen students are already in top form. I’m hard pressed to recall a better meal at many fine dining restaurants. The five course dishes were superb. The restaurant only has service periodically and each meal is different. I cannot wait to go back again.

What a great way to start the semester! The students did a great job in both the front and back of the house. The food was thoughtful and well prepared and our server Lyrissa was amazing. Looking forward to future dinners!

Our dining group has been fortunate to experience this great program for a number of years. It gets better each time and we look forward to the different menus. Our service and food today were both exceptional!

I was with a group of four people for a French menu lunch. Everyone in our group thought that the service and food were excellent. I thought the fish in parchment paper was exceptional. It was very juicy and flavorful, and the presentation was lovely. We all wished we had more of the raspberry clafoutis, because it was so delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience and I can't wait to return and try something new.

Service was efficient and polite. The server explained all the courses and the ingredients. I appreciate that they actually made the bone broth in the soups. The decor was subdued and tranquil. My only complaint - i lucked out this time, but generally it is very difficult to make a reservation.

I went with 3 other people for a Thai themed menu. The food was very good (as always). The service was excellent. They didn't serve any bread with the meal this time, like they usually do. Maybe because Thai restaurants don't serve bread? The one thing our table didn't appreciate was that there were 2 soup courses. We had a salad course, a soup course, a main course, and a dessert course. The main course was described as stewed duck noodle and it was in a broth. We all loved the dessert which was "Coconut Sticky Rice Pudding" It had mango and finely chopped mint on top. I am looking forward to my next visit to Waterleaf.
