A new “go to” for us! We drive 45 minutes for dinner here, and after 3 visits, it must be worth it! Let’s talk about what we’ve had. Norwalk local raw oysters. Incredible! Sweet and only very slightly briney, likely due to the brackish water they are grown in, but oh so very lovely! The thick sliced bacon with a relish of pickled heirloom tomato. Excellent! Not over powered by relish, and just cooked enough for a nice tooth, and great flavor! Rib eye steaks. Here is were we always have a difficult time! I like my steak black and blue, hubby is medium. A good black and blue is a difficult temperature for even an experienced chef. However, WP has 3 times consistently cooked my steak to perfection. Tonite, the steak was a bit tough, but that had nothing to do with the restaurant. They really have little control over the tenderness of the meat. It was still cooked exactly as ordered! The available “sauces” bernaise, horseradish, smoked clarified butter, peppercorn, and chimichurri are all exceptional. They will give you a sampler of each with your steak if you ask! The steaks are served with a full head of lovely roasted garlic! OH MY! The chared broccoli side is great. Tonite we tried the cauliflower steak, which is served with fingerling potatoes keep the potatoes, lads, they’re not necessary. The cauliflower had a very very nice flavor and was cooked just enough! If you’ve ever tried to make one of these yourself you know how hard it is to get the cook correct! It didn’t fall apart, yet was fork tender and very nicely seasoned! It was large enough that some had to come home with us! We have had the flourless chocolate cake, the bananas foster, and the seasonal peach crème brûlée for dessert. They’re OK . The crème brûlée was sadly the most disappointing of the 3. But…. Overall, a GREAT dinner awesome service at the bar, which is reserve seating, and for what we eat, with cocktails and dessert a price range that is in line! GO NOW!!!

Everything about the restaurant was a 10! Our service was wonderful, the drinks are the best in the area and the food was amazing. We started with sushi (surf and turf roll), oysters and the sea bass skewers. We got 2 of the 40 oz. Porterhouses, and they were the best I've ever had. We shared perfectly cooked burgers, a fantastic short rib and a juicy and spicy chicken scarpiello. We would highly recommend this restaurant to all!

Unfortunately, this one was a miss. Based on prior reviews and the restaurant's website touting awards and accolades, we chose to dine at this establishment. Our expectations were to expect an experience similar to other high-end restaurants specializing in fine steaks and wine we have enjoyed. While we can say their wine list is superb and the raw bar selections were fresh and flavorful, the balance of the evening fell flat. We ordered their premier cuts of porterhouse for two, one prepared medium rare and the other rare. We also ordered additional entrees for those in our party and appropriate sides. With respect to the steaks, the rare was at best medium rare, and both had a very unpleasant and distasteful char with some tough cuts on the plate. Our guests who opted for different entrees both left half of their food untouched and commented it was not to their expectations. We found the service to be quite slow and a bit disjointed even though the restaurant appeared to be well below capacity. Perhaps we chose the wrong Friday evening to dine, however, for the price point and quality received we do not plan to return.

Probably the best steakhouse we've been to, and that includes Capital Grille. We ate at the bar, and Scott, our bartender, was terrific. Along with the excellent service from the kitchen, Scott made it a special dining experience.

There’s nothing on the menu that I wouldn’t recommend. Obviously the steaks are top notch, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The sides, while typical for a steakhouse are abundant and delicious. Service is fantastic and friendly with a casual atmosphere and innovative cocktails and ales. It’s fairly priced for the quality. Five stars all around!

Washington Prime was fabulous. We went for our 5 year anniversary and mentioned that in the reservation. They made it extra special. When we arrived they brought us each a complimentary glass of champagne and the waitress recognized our day. Several waiters came by and did the same. We each had the 8oz filet and they were outstanding. We’re both big steak eaters and picky about our steaks. It was served on individual cutting boards for a lovely, steakhouse vibe. The triple baked potato was the perfect side. Dessert was the chocolate bomb and it lives up to its name. Delicious! When they brought dessert they brought out a giant sparkler for the table while they wished us a happy anniversary. We were never rushed and our needs were anticipated before we had to ask. As we left, many of the clientele wished us happy anniversary. We highly recommend and will be back again!
