Construit en 1840, cette ancienne résidence de plantation Cape May est aujourd'hui le célèbre Washington Inn and Wine Bar. La famille Craig a soigneusement préservé la beauté et l'essence de ce trésor si particulier sans apporter d'importantes modifications au lieu original. La façade acceuillante surplombe la Washington Street bordée d'arbres dans le quartier du littoral Historic District. Le Washington Inn propose six salles à manger uniques, d' un patio aux tables près de la cheminée. Les cocktails sont un must au Wine Bar, où la scène Cape May peut être encore plus appréciée. We come to the Washington Inn all the time. Last night was a very bad experience. And it was Valentine’s Day. They changed the menu, prices went up and the dishes got smaller. My husband got the Delicata squash Dish it was actually disgusting and not edible. The quinoa in the Delicata squash was so greasy and over spiced. We don’t mind paying these prices but please have edible things on the menu.

Was disappointed my steak was very good / but for that price - it came with about 2 tablespoons spoons of mash potatoes & no vegetable - also no salad offered - I would not have minded paying for a salad offered a side veg but never offered

The Valentines's Day chocolate and wine bar was wonderful! The food we enjoyed at the bar afterwards was delicious, as was my dirty martini!

We enjoyed celebrating my friend's birthday at the Washington Inn. The mushroom soup was amazing! We would also recommend the salmon and crab cake entrees. Our server was so thoughtful to bring sorbet with a birthday candle at the end of the meal, topping off a wonderful birthday celebration. Thank you!

This is a great restaurant with a consistently sound kitchen that produces wonderful flavors and a friendly and professional staff that strives for you to have an enjoyable evening. Although it has a liquor license, the staff is great at recommending wine within your price range and we find the food prices to be lower and serving sizes larger than many of the BYOBs in town. We highly recommend the Washington Inn.

Excellent! A+ From a perfect Old Fashioned, to fresh plump oysters to perfectly cooked filet mignon and short ribs, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, our service and the entire elegant dining experience!

Everything was awesome. Daniel was terrific. All 4 of our dinners were amazing and the restaurant looks great. We had not dined there for several years as our last visits were not great, but we are definitely putting the Washington Inn back into our list of faves!!
