Construit en 1840, cette ancienne résidence de plantation Cape May est aujourd'hui le célèbre Washington Inn and Wine Bar. La famille Craig a soigneusement préservé la beauté et l'essence de ce trésor si particulier sans apporter d'importantes modifications au lieu original. La façade acceuillante surplombe la Washington Street bordée d'arbres dans le quartier du littoral Historic District.     From the bread, cocktails, salads, entrees, and desserts, everything was outstanding. One of my favorite places to eat in Cape May.

    Excellent food, attentive wait staff, attention to details. Dinner was a pleasure. I will be back again. Enjoyed a speciality cocktail at the bar before dinner. Bartender was friendly, described the drink as he made it.

    From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the hostess who was very polite and friendly! We sat down right away at our white linen table! Within seconds we were greeted by our waiter who was absolutely amazing the whole meal! We asked for his recommendations for drinks and our entire meal and I will say we cleaned our plates ! It was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time!

    Really upset that they got rid of the crab and corn chowder but still a delicious meal nonetheless! Wish I could give more than 5/5 stars. My favorite restaurant possibly in the entire country.

    We enjoyed a great meal and had excellent service from hostess, server (Roxie) with special visit from the sommelier who complimented on our wine choice….the atmosphere is awesome….this is one of our favorite places in Cape May

    We always come to Washington Inn but compared to years ago it went down hill. The food used to be exceptional now it’s ok. I’ll probably won’t waste my money anymore.
