We have so much to offer at The Wandle. We were previously known as the Puzzle and have transformed ourselves into a truly independent pub in Earlsfield. We lead with great food, eclectic and exciting drinks, not to mention our dazzling personality, fantastic service and beautiful beer garden.

Here at the Wandle, named after our famous newly cleaned, fish breeding river, we endeavour to help you escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounding you in comfort where you can truly kick back and relax!

    The beer garden is nice. Such a shame they “forgot” about my booking so me and my mate had to watch the game outside in the cold. The venue also looked massively understaffed with hundreds of empty pints on the tables..

    Hi Lulian, I can only apologise about this, given the booking was made 3 hours before arrival over Open table on a Saturday afternoon, this is a peak time for us to be monitoring the booking for same same afternoon booking. This may be a poor excuse on our side but will most certainly work on bettering this. I hope you would wish to give us another chance at improving our standards. Kind Regards

    Great group of staff. Will be returning . Only one issue was two rogue children running around for 45 minutes causing such a ruckus . They were grabbing tables and chairs as they ran past, going from corner to corner of the entire pub. People were visible annoyed. They could have got hurt or caused staff to drop plates and drinks. Not to mention disturbing peoples time and meal. They were told to stop eventually, but that’s not the pubs fault .

    All the food we ordered had ran out, the order was messed up too. Staff were lovely but wouldn’t go back.

    The first and probably last time we will go. We have just bought a flat nearby so we’re hosting a gather of friends and family. The welcome was awful.. staff attitude very poor. I know it’s a pub but the floors were sticky with spilt drink. Loos were vile

    We visited to watch the Mens Wimbledon finals on a Sunday 16.07.23 to have lunch and drinks. We wanted to sit outside but the sound outside wasn't working so we had to sit inside. A shame as the sun was out. Nevertheless the screen and sound was working inside. The food was the main problem - firstly it was Wimbledon Sunday, and most of what we wanted to order on the menu was out of stock as "they had run out the day before." There isn't really an excuse for this - it's just poor planning to have 8-10 items missing. The food we did manage to order was honestly pretty bad. Nothing we would ever want to order again. We also ordered an "Eton Mess" which came out in a warm bowl looking like lumpy yogurt which we asked for a refund. We'll definitely come back to the Wandle for the sport, the drinks and the ambiance but we won't be ordering food again.

    Hello Sam, so disappointing you left unhappy. The volume outside has been out of our hands for a while, although, we're happy to let you know that, as of yesterday, we're allowed by the council (which we weren't before) to have the volume on in our garden. Regarding the food, we're really sorry we didn't have some of our menu items available. It's great to read you'll be coming back, hopefully you'll try our food again and we can show you that our food's definitely worth coming back for. Maxi
