This is my favorite restaurant in Northern Michigan. The food is always amazing as well as the service. The setting on Walloon Lake is magical.

Delicious and beautifully prepared brunch menu in a relaxing and picturesque setting. We have had brunch here a few times already this summer and look forward to returning again soon. The outdoor seating on a nice Michigan day is perfect!

We made a mistake on our reservation and had more people. They were fairly unaccommodating and suggested we could leave several times. We have never had this issue before and I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that we had gay couples and interracial couples. The table that could have easily accommodated us was sat as we were paying and were the general manger’s friends. Ryan our server was great and the dinner was good but it started off on the wrong foot.

On behalf of every staff member of color and those who are gay, we find it highly offensive you use your preferences and skin color as an excuse to slander restaurants. We were very accommodating by seating you despite your group being extremely demanding and rude to our staff, as that’s not something we tolerate here. During peak season every table is planned out strategically to ensure proper execution for every guest. The local business owner you mistook for a friend is consistently kind to our staff. We are not surprised you enjoyed both the food and service and we appreciate the shout out. If you intend on dining with us in the future, we ask that you come polite and with the correct number of confirmed guests, so the experience starts on the right foot. Thank you.

Lovely restaurant with reliably excellent food and service. Was able to have dessert on the patio which was terrific. Always enjoy our time at the restaurant.

A wonderful evening at a well-run establishment! The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the lake view was spectacular. The hostess greeted us warmly giving us a great first impression The restaurant manager, Melissa, was very welcoming and gracious and took time to visit our table. Our server, Janice, was amiable and attentive and our compliments to the dessert chef - the carrot cake and crème brûlée were fantastic. Thank you.

Another fantastic evening at the Walloon Lake Inn. The food was terrific (really liked the Chicken Carbonara and the Truffle Fries are best of the best). Our server Jodi was Terrific (attentive & fun)! We hope to be back soon. Mike & Catherine
