Virgil's is an ideal destination for pre-theater dinner. It's huge so even if you drop in (early) you will be seated quickly and not have to worry about being late for your curtain time. The food is delicious and the portions very generous. Service is also exceptional. I recommend the brisket or shortribs but everything is very good.

Terrific BBQ selection and quality. Our waiter seemed distracted as it wasn’t very busy. He was personable but everything took longer than normal. We would go back again.

We wanted good American food at decent prices with friendly service and we got all that. If you want a lot of leftovers to pack, maybe select the "Pig out" option. The kids menu is $10 (the price is not on the menu which is awkward) and had good options for kids.
