My friend and I decided to share dinner before going out in Galena. We ordered the Chicken Parm. It was super dry and tasteless. The bread, salad, and wine were great. When the bill came, there was a $9.95 split fee on the check. We decided to share our meal that night, but were unaware of a "split" fee. Would not go back

My cousins and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Vinny Vanucchi’s last night. We were able to push our reservation back a bit and still get right in. Our server Jessica Runde was fabulous, she knew so much about the menus and answered our questions without having to ask anyone else. She told us her favorite dish which two of us had and loved. We really loved the ambience and felt comfortable and welcomed. The Food was AMAZING! We ate everything that was brought and Loved every bite. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Galena. We will definitely be back. Thank you Vinny Vanucchi’s for doing a wonderful job 😊😊

We visited at 6:30 on a Thursday evening and ate in a small room to the front (street) side on tbe main level. We ordered the stuffed shells and the seafood fettuccine in cream sauce. We share the entre’s for a really nice combination. Of course, two glasses of Malbec added significantly to the overall cost of the meal. Skip the booze for a very reasonable night out!

My wife and I dine here frequently when we are in town. We wanted to entertain relatives with a good meal and Vinny Vannuchis didn’t let us down. Everyone raved about the salad and bread! Well done as usual!

The server was condescending from the get-go, and annoyed by/dismissive of questions regarding dietary restrictions. Food was excessively greasy and underseasoned. The food was very over-priced for what we received, and then we were hit with additional sticker shock from surprise "surcharges." We witnessed the staff treat other guests very negatively, as well. One of the busboys continued to stare at my friend throughout our meal and make her very uncomfortable. Overall this was an incredibly disappointing, uncomfortable, expensive mistake. We were celebrating a special occasion for my friend, and this was truly a let-down. We all decided that we would have been much better off cooking at our vacation rental. Terribly disappointing.

We have been to Vinny’s many times over the past 15+ years, and this was one of our best experiences. Our server Ronda was informative and attentive (but not intrusive), the food was very good and the portions were generous. Their expansion into other parts of the building has allowed for more space between tables, less crowding, a better ambiance and overall improved experience. Our favorite restaurant in Galena.

This was a very cute restaurant with great food. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The pasta was delicious. The serving sizes were “just right”—not to big and not to small. They had a delicious variety of drinks and desserts. I’ll come back next time I’m in Galena.

We had dinner there last night to celebrate or 30th anniversary. We lived the restaurant the food but most of all our server. Server 317 Josue A. He was the most attentive and kind server .
