Lisa et Terry Harwood, à la fois chefs et propriétaires, vous accueille au Vine Street Cafe. Ouvert en 2003, il se trouve au sud de Ferry Road, à seulement 2,5 km de la station de métro South Ferry. Le chef Terry travaille en collaboration avec les agriculteurs, les pêcheurs et les vignobles de la région. Ces produits naturels sont proposés dans des menus de saison.     The food has been upgraded from what was served several years ago. It's become the go-to best restaurant in the area. It's creative and amazing. If you are challenged being in a noisy restaurant, I suggest eating outside on their patio where is it much quieter and is a pleasant nature setting.

    Well worth a ferry ride to Shelter Island if you aren't already there. Excellent food, inventive cocktails and overall fun atmosphere. Very varied menu with something for everyone, great outdoor seating under a festive test strung with lights and some fireflies to add to the spark. Indoor seating s is very homey and rustic, with different seating areas (we prefer the front room) . Love the calamari salad, the burrata, the salmon , steak, duck confit and pasta dishes. Great daily specials. We were very happy to see our favorite waitress Emma back from last summer - so cheerful, attentive and efficient!

    Vine Street never misses! Every time I’m here, the food, the service, and the drinks are a 10/10. The strip steak was perfectly cooked and the Oaxacan Negroni is a must-try. An extra thank you to our wonderful server, Hannah!

    Food was good but nothing special, didn't deserve $100pp bill for 2 entrees, 2 cocktails, 1 beer and 1 dessert (and 2 coffees).

    We love Vine Street and have been coming here for years. This particular occasion was our first wedding anniversary and we were seated next to the loudest table of young women who insisted on screaming and cackling despite the close proximities to our table. We could barely hear each other and it was clear the women next to us did not give a damn about decorum. There was another family seated behind the women and they got up and left. It was unbearbaly loud. We did our best to be patient and tolerant but eventually we could not stand it anymore. Thankfully, the service team was able to move us to a quieter section of the restaurant so we could continue our meal. We're most grateful for the staff at Vine Street. They always take such good care of us. The restaurant was packed and orders were backed up, but we received our meals and beverages in a timely manner. The food was impeccable, as always, and we could not be happier. Hats off to the staff for all their hard work managing such a busy night. We look forward to returning to a quieter spot at Vine Street in the coming weeks. :)

    We have eaten at vi be street for many many years. It felt more expensive and the food was not up to our past experience. It was fine but I was a bit disappointed . It’s still a lovely place but not above the rest as it had been

    It’s a beautiful environment on the patio. Service is lovely, and the food is excellent. Yummy warm toasty bread and butter, great drinks, great food. Food was well timed.

    This was a great dinner in an out of the way spot. Wonderful steak and fries, calamari, and tuna. Too full for dessert but will get back for sticky toffee pudding. I would recommend to others and go back in a minute.
