Vin Room is Calgary's premier wine bar offering over 100 wines by the taste. With the help of the Enomatic Wine Preservation System, we can guarantee variety and freshness as well.

Our wines are complemented by our tapas menu, focusing on fresh, local ingredients with a global twist. We offer tapas that are seasonal, wine focused and flavorful.

Vin Room was one of Enroute Magazine's Top 25 Hot Spots in Canada, an Open Table Diner’s Choice Award Recipient, and received a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for three years in a row. Vin Room was named one of Avenue Magazine's Top Restaurants of 2012.

We are located at 2310-4th St. SW (Old Mission Cycle Building); just a short cab ride from downtown and the Stampede Grounds. Rooftop patio open (weather permitting) on a first come, first served basis.

We sat upstairs on the outdoor patio. Very relaxed. Our server was lovely. We lingered and ordered and enjoyed several tapas and desserts and wine. Restrooms downstairs, and chairs and tables are patio appropriate. Inside is more lounge style. We enjoyed our night!

We sat on the upstairs patio and it was a lovely evening. All of the food we tried was amazing. We even ordered more of the little bites after our large plates. Service was great and the cocktails were delicious. Would highly recommend.

Excellent happy hour offerings, for both price and quality. A very good patio if you have small dogs.

Upon arrival, as a party of 4 booked in, we were greeted with a sour attitude because we were early for our reservation and wanted to sit in the lounge for some drinks while we waited on the rest of our guests to arrive, as it was our first time there. As it turned out there was no lounge so we sat in the restaurant where one of the chefs was sitting at a table close to us. After a while I had to get up and ask for service,from the same person that greeted us. I asked if we could have a drink,He stated he was making drinks pointing towards a couple that came in after us. He presented himself as a manager..? He was in the bar preparing drinks and doing floor service for food also. He came across as someone not happy in their job, or to be there. Our guests arrived and after a while the (our) male server came by to offer them drinks. Food we ordered was very good, but the service was very poor the female server was on point though would have preferred her service, but because the male (server)? Was a vast disappointment so we just had appetizers and asked for our bills. In which case i was paying for my bill in cash.. but was told they didn’t provide cash change ..? So he got a really good tip unfortunately.

We took our good friends from California. Absolutely had a great experience. Great Value and awesome service. Chef Peter visited us at the table. Our server was awesome and informative about the menu. We will be returning often.

Absolutely a wonderful place to go for a quick bite and a great glass of wine. We tried the Sunday supper and will definitely go again. Duck confit was terrific!

Another wonderful time at vin room. Added bonus of live guitar player on the rooftop patio tonight which was a very nice touch. Amazing service as always.

Food was delicious, the Demi-glade for the meat was divine. The cocktail Jammy was my favorite and it is worth trying. The jazz player was great, music was not too loud and it was super nice to hear and romantic as well. Excellent service. Great date night spot.
