Our earliest childhood memories include making homemade tomato sauce in our Nonna’s driveway located in Corona, Queens. Being apart of five children, we all had our jobs. From cleaning bushels of raw tomatoes to jarring the sauce with fresh basil there was always enough made so you never left Sunday dinner hungry. Made at our family owned restaurant, Villaggio, you can now enjoy our family recipes. It’s the closest thing to our Nonnas driveway. “Come to Villaggio, where your treated like family” - Bon Apetito! This is a lovely restaurant. The staff are warm and accommodating. The food is delicious and the menu includes a variety of entrees. We enjoyed dining here.

I have been going to this restaurant for years. I ordered chicken francaise because in my past experience I was informed that this item doesn't contain onions. The meal was delivered quickly. When I began eating the entree, I didn't think that it tasted as good as it had in the past. However, I continued to eat most of it. The sauce overpowered the dish and I was wondering if onions or shallots were added. Turns out, they have a new chef and he didn't know that shallots are in the onion family. I have IBS and these items affect my gastro system. Luckily, I drank lots of water to dilute the shallots potency and I survived the night. Doesn't change my opinion that the food did not taste great. Hope the chef improves.

Had a business dinner last night at Villaggios. Six people and the table was cozy but not too crowded. We had 2 rounds of Old Fashioned which were excellent. Our server recommended the Octopus and Empanada appetizers-perfect for sharing and group enjoyed. Dinners were a variety of traditional italian, fish, and steak. Everyone was happy with meals and I will gladly return.

Great food, drinks and service. All of the dishes that we ordered were a 5 out of 5. The Great Gatsby and sangria were excellent. Perfection.

The best of our neighborhood Italian restaurants. Try the short rib ravioli, spaghetti carbonara, veal francese, and pollo alla zingara. Great service, and fairly low key early in the evening.
