The server was excellent . We did the price fix menu . The location is beautiful . Service impeccable . Quality of food could be much better ! The calamari were good crunchy not oily but the sauce was a little too sweet . It needed more lime to cut some of the sweetness. I got the swordfish with cauliflower purée, gnocchi some peas and 2 leaves of spinach . The meat of the fish is white, plate white , pure white , gnochii white … the chef should have presented it differently plus it needed. some color and some flavor more spinach , something else broccoli, mushrooms…. Something … it looked blend and tasted blend . The apple pastry was not pastry was almost uncooked dough w apples and caramel in the middle . I could not eat it .

Beautiful place and setting, but the menu for restaurant week was underwhelming. My swordfish was good, but I did not like the thin, white sauce (supposed to be cauliflower puree?) with baby gnocchis. Our lobster bisque was devoid of any lobster pieces. So at least maybe put a shrimp in there?? And it was annoying that we had to pay extra for some bread. Apple dessert was very pleasing.

We have not been to the View Restaurant in a while. Our dinners were varied in quality. The lobster pasta was very good. The Branzino was good. The ribeye steak was expensive and not the best quality (some areas were tough). Our server was not very friendly and abrupt. Overall, the restaurant was good.

First time to this restaurant and not sure if I would go back. Two of us ordered the lobster bisque soup and it was warm at best. The restaurant was just about empty and yet the air conditioning was blasting. We had to ask 3 times to raise the temperature, even threatened to leave. I had the swordfish it was a little over cooked otherwise good. Three Cappuccinos servered warm not at all hot. Our waitress was here and gone, three times we had to ask one of the other servers to get her. The one good thing about the restaurant is the overall view which you can enjoy from any table

The food was amazing! The dining room was beautiful! Best of all…our server Jill could not have been more attentive and was really amazing! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I very specifically asked for a table w a good view when I made the reservation & when we arrived. It was the first time there for 3 of our guests, though my husband & I have been there many times. Our location was not good & only 1 of us enjoyed their food. We won’t be back.

We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately in a mostly empty dining room. In spite of the lack of a crowd the acoustics were poor, making it difficult to hear one another. It took a little over 15 minutes before a server came to our table (we had to ask) but once she arrived she was charming and efficient. The food was great. Stuffed clams were piping hot, a little smoky from the bacon, a little sweet from the onions and a little spicy - just enough to give them a zing without overpowering the clams. My husband’s swordfish dinner was both gorgeous and delicious, served in a pool of cauliflower puree topped with tender little gnocchi and a sprinkle of crushed, toasted almonds. I’d never have thought those mild ingredients could blend into anything so tasty and creative. My lobster pasta was a rich, creamy delight. Fresh mushrooms, shallots, corn, bacon and cherry tomatoes made it chowder-like. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente and there was a generous amount of lobster in the dish. Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream must have been delicious, but I can’t be sure because I only got a spoonful of ice cream before the plate was emptied.
