Depuis 1963, le Victor's Cafe, un joyau de quartier de New York City à la gestion familiale, continue d'offrir un voyage culinaire à Cuba en proposant une expérience incomparable grâce à l'harmonie de sa cuisine authentique, de son accueil chaleureux et de son environnement élégant. L'établissement a la particularité d'être à la fois luxueux et décontracté, serein et dynamique, idéal pour les familles et romantique, exotique et familier. La cuisine du Victor's présente les plats les plus délicieux et authentiques, combinés avec des créations exclusives du restaurant, qui représentent l'évolution de la cuisine cubaine. Excellent food. Ropa Veilla is perfecto as was camarones and the flan!!! Great service and perfect for pre-theatre.

Really like this place, to which I have been coming from time to time since the 1980s! I also like the relatively recent upgrade of the facilities. But I’m growing tired of the overpriced/chinzy drinks and the upsell by the waiters at the table (and we orders appetizers, deserts, drinks etc. ) The older waiters are fading from the scene and I already miss them since the new guys don’t appear up to the task..

We have been coming to Victors many times in the past few years and each time it seems to get worse and worse. Not the food, but everything else. The portions are incredibly small, and the service is mediocre. For 2 people they brought us out a shared side of black beans that were in a tiny cup. It’s definitely the portion of 1 person if that but they’re trying to skimp out on beans. Beans cost like $3. Since we used to come here religiously, we know the original portion used to be a bowl for 2 people. But that same bowl was given to a family of 4, so they definitely reduced the portion. The rice portions are also tiny and when we asked for additional rice and beans it’s the same small cup for $8 for the beans and the $4 for the rice. A side of yuca fries with about 10 pieces is $12 - ridiculous. The staff is also kind of odd and rushing to get stuff off the tables that’s still being eaten. Used to be my favorite place in the city but will not be coming back.

The red snapper was delicious! Plantain appetizer was delicious too. Enjoy coming to Victor’s when I visit NYC.
