    Food was okay definitely not as good as we were expecting. The Filet and the bbq shrimp appetizer were good. French onion soup was awful. Heavily salted, could not finish it. The fried green tomatoes were okay but not your typical fried green tomatoes. IMO they were overdone with cheese grits, goat cheese and balsamic glaze. Service was fine nothing remarkable.

    Started with the lump crab cake, it was light and flavourful, the warm biscuits were insanely good. My wife scallops were perfectly done, gently seared, the center sweet and tender. Being from the east coast of Canada I can tell good seafood and these scallops were on point! I had the catfish, the batter was crisp yet not thick, the fish was light and flaky, so good!

    I’m a Savannah local however travel internationally and domestically , so I’m exposed to many restaurants experiences. Vic’s is my go to restaurant for family celebrations and special occasions.

    Overall, our server and management did all they could to improve our visit after having to send 2 dishes back to the kitchen and one drink back to the bar. I think everyone can have an off day and I think that's what happened during our visit, but definitely would return.

    Everything we ate and drank was fantastic. The ambiance was incredible, and our group raved about the experience hours after we’d left. Highly recommend having a meal at Vic’s on your next visit to Savannah. We definitely will be next time we’re in town.

    Atrocious bar service! Sat down at 6:25 pm and did not receive my beverage until 7:10!! The waiter came back three separate times to advise me that the gin I had ordered for my martini was not available and that the vodka my wife ordered was not available. I ordered a bottle of white wine for the table and that was not delivered until moments before the entrees arrived, and then the ice bucket arrived ten minutes after that. When the bill came, there was not a single item that was comped to make up for the awful bar service. Beyond surprised. I dropped $400 and any other restaurant worth its salt would have comped something, but I was even charged $1 for the bleu cheese olives I ordered for my martini. The waiter was friendly but he's 19 years old and clearly needed someone from management to guide him in such a situation. So very disappointed.
