Located inside the sunny glass-topped Inn atrium, the newly-renovated Versailles Restaurant, features an internationally-inspired a la carte menu.

An expansive bar spans the length of the atrium and offers craft cocktails, beer, wine and a limited menu.

Weekend afternoons provide the perfect opportunity to unwind with a cup of tea and a selection of delectable treats during our traditional Afternoon Tea held in the Versailles Restaurant.

The Versailles Tea experience includes a variety of delicious teas accompanied by a selection of tea sandwiches, scones, pastries and sweets.

Tea is served from 2pm-4pm by reservation only Wednesday through Sunday starting February 22, 2020. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

I visited on a Monday with two girlfriends and we were all underwhelmed. The cost of lunch and the tasting far exceeded the experience we had. The food and wine was mediocre and the bathrooms were mess despite the empty restaurants and tasting rooms. Overall, this was vastly over priced and not worth it.

We had a reservation for 8p. They told us to have a seat but forgot to notify us when our table was ready. Meanwhile others walked up and were seated immediately. Once we arrived at our table, it was another wait of 10 minutes until our server acknowledged us. Our meals were cold and lacked seasoning. Our drinks took 30 minutes to be delivered to our table. One of the cocktail was watered down. For the price, we do not believe it was worth it. We do not plan on returning.

Food was mediocre at best. Pretty empty for a Friday night. I can see why. Service at bar was terrible but waiter was friendly and attentive. Expected more for high price of the food. This will be my last trip to Chateau Elan. Winery was awful and hotel just ok. For 55.00 pp for tasting wine I expected some kind of background about wine. It was poured and that was it.

Celebrating our anniversary, the wait staff was extremely welcoming. My wife has a gluten intolerance. They modified one menu item to make it gluten free. They also served gluten free bread at the same time as regular bread service. Our waiter went above and beyond to make certain our visit was memorable.

For the price, it was a very “meh” experience. Couldn’t recommend. For the price, I’d go to Ruth’s Chris instead

10/10 I really enjoyed my experience at Versailles! The food was really good, the service was amazing! The waitress was friendly and attentive, our food came out at a reasonable time and the portions we great. We also enjoyed dessert which was just as great
