Located inside the sunny glass-topped Inn atrium, the newly-renovated Versailles Restaurant, features an internationally-inspired a la carte menu.

An expansive bar spans the length of the atrium and offers craft cocktails, beer, wine and a limited menu.

Weekend afternoons provide the perfect opportunity to unwind with a cup of tea and a selection of delectable treats during our traditional Afternoon Tea held in the Versailles Restaurant.

The Versailles Tea experience includes a variety of delicious teas accompanied by a selection of tea sandwiches, scones, pastries and sweets.

Tea is served from 2pm-4pm by reservation only Wednesday through Sunday starting February 22, 2020. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

    Versailles was our favorite dining experience while staying at Chateau Elan (we had a meal at each of the restaurants). Great dinner and service.

    It is disappointing to see such a lovely spot turn negative. The service was below par -- I had a reservation for lunch at 12noon and my guests were not seated until 12:30 pm. There was what appeared to be about 2 servers and they were not happy to be there lacking friendliness and southern charm. It took 15 minutes to get greeted, 20 to get drinks and even longer to order food and get a check. The appetizer was good but the main courses were not good. One of my guests ordered the chicken caesar salad and the chicken was overcooked and tasted like a grill/griddle. The chicken salad sandwhich was not good either, lacking flavor. I have visited this hotel and restaurant numerous times and each time the experience is worse. Management needs to focus on the restaurant offerings and servers.

    I would eat here again… but it wasn’t AMAZING Our waitress was good and nice..: Never got our salad…. But hey… we must’ve not needed it

    We dined here three mornings for breakfast and once for dinner. The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive (Bobby Jo for breakfasts; Vannah for dinner) and the breakfasts were excellent. Our Saturday evening dinner, however, was subpar especially considering the price point. We had a 7:15 reservation to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Upon checking in with the hostess, we let her know about the special occasion and that we preferred to be seated at one of the more private circular booths. She stated that we would have to wait. We agreed that we would do so, not realizing that it would be close to an hour before we were seated. The servers were clearly overwhelmed with too many tables (NOT their fault) and the food was just okay. I’ve had much better meals at Longhorn’s or Bonefish. The manager never visited our table to make any apologies about the initial wait for the table or slow service in general. I will say that we mentioned the experience to the hotel manager (Ife) and she was EXCELLENT. There is so much potential here…it’s a shame that the experience did not match the expectation.

    I visited on a Monday with two girlfriends and we were all underwhelmed. The cost of lunch and the tasting far exceeded the experience we had. The food and wine was mediocre and the bathrooms were mess despite the empty restaurants and tasting rooms. Overall, this was vastly over priced and not worth it.

    We had a reservation for 8p. They told us to have a seat but forgot to notify us when our table was ready. Meanwhile others walked up and were seated immediately. Once we arrived at our table, it was another wait of 10 minutes until our server acknowledged us. Our meals were cold and lacked seasoning. Our drinks took 30 minutes to be delivered to our table. One of the cocktail was watered down. For the price, we do not believe it was worth it. We do not plan on returning.
