Usually out-go to for special dinners. We went last night for the seafood special. As usual it was very good. The service on the other hand was appalling. When I asked for lemon slices, it was slammed on the table. We tried several times to order a cocktail. They never came. No one checked in on us and when we asked to take our uneaten food to go, there was an audible sigh of exasperation. It was busy but there were open tables. I would say the service was almost rude.

Our son's new favorite restaurant. We went for Thursday night Prix Fixe menu and each option we chose was amazing. Fantastic food, excellent service, and a lovely atmostphere.

The food itself was amazing, and the service was incredible as well. We went with the special Surf & Turf which was recommended to us by the waiter. And it was definitely worth it, a bit on the pricey side but everything was cooked to perfection and paired really well with the sides, dips and wine. Will definitely return for another special occasion.

Vero remains my favourite restaurant in Calgary. Although this was probably my 20th time eating there, tonight the food exceeded even my expectations. Such a fantastic restaurant with a great vibe, great service and great food.

From the drinks and appetizers to the final dessert, every part of this meal was perfection. The service was impeccable—timed just right so we could enjoy our conversation without ever feeling neglected. Worth every penny!

First time visiting this fabulous restaurant and will definitely return. The food was absolutely delicious, the he flavours were so amazing. The atmosphere was great as well as the service was outstanding.

The starters (arancini & artichokes) were excellent. The sweet potato gnocchi was fabulous. The lobster tail and pasta dish was disappointing. Pasta was slimy and tasteless and the lobster tail didn’t really taste of lobster/seafood at all. Our waiter was excellent and really helped. The Sardinian white wine was fine. Shame there wasn’t more Canadian wine on the list.
