    The Venue is usually very nice;however, this time the food took longer than normal to come out and 3 of us ordered the same steak cooked the same way (med rare) but they all came out cooked differently. 1 was what I would consider to be rare, 1 was perfect and mine was med to med well. The food was otherwise wonderful. They appeared to have a party going on and I believe a wine tasting event so I suspect they may have overbooked for the amount of staff they had.

    Our food and service were excellent. I ordered the Venue Pecan Blue salad with a salmon add on. My mom was able to order a half Venue Pecan Blue salad. Dad ordered a 6oz sirloin with fries and green beans. My sister ordered an appetizer that was enough food for lunch. I already made a reservation at Venue for lunch with friends in November!

    Our server Kat was friendly, competent, and helpful. She accommodated every request for alternatives and left us alone when we were satisfied. Food was fabulous.

    We had a wonderful meal at Venue. I think the food is very high quality for the price. The cocktail I got was great and very unique (I forget the name, but it had Japanese gin and basil). I love that they offer steak on the kids menu. My daughter loves it but we rarely want to order her a full steak so I appreciate the kid-sized portion! Everyone we interacted with was so friendly which is less and less common at restaurants these days.

    Food and service were excellent. Went there for an anniversary they treated us to complimentary champagne and were very accommodating.

    We have eaten at Venue many times & absolutely loved it. The food & service we had this last trip was not the usual greatness that we have had in the past. I am hoping it was just an off night. I'm sure we will give it another chance. The hostess, however, was extremely welcoming & very nice.

    We arrived mid-afternoon but were still surprised by how understaffed The Venue was. A wait to be welcomed. A wait for a table with most of the place empty. Long waits between visits by our server -- who did well under the circumstances. But the Blood & Sand cocktail and Commuter Cuvee Pinot Noir both hit the spot. When the food finally arrived (the soup was nice and hot, so the kitchen was understaffed as well), we were impressed by how their menu standards had been intelligently tweaked. Seafood Bisque had lovely depth and complexity; the house salad was a flavorful work of art. Entrees continued the pattern with a purist's Lobster Roll and an adventurous Chicken Artichoke pizza with Gouda. We left with ample leftovers, unjudged by our server. We might have to put The Venue back into regular rotation.
