We enjoyed a wonderful birthday brunch for my Husband Outdoors on the porch we were beautifully enjoying the wonders of nature & the babbling brook! Food was so delicious and beautifully arranged along with welcoming service throughout our meal. A great restaurant to visit at anytime of year!!

There was a wedding at the restaurant so the noise level was very high. Service was not great- server was very pleasant but had inside and outside tables so wasn’t around most of the time. Salmon was tasty but drenched in a sauce that overpowered it.

Lovely night on the porch at Valley Green Inn! Delicious food and service! Grateful to find a spot that isn’t over priced these days!

We always have a great meal at Valley Green. The food is always excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. I’d highly recommend Valley Green Inn.

The hostess (a middle aged African American lady) was rude and impatient with us when we first got there (10 minutes earlier). We got yelled at when we tried to pick a table outside of the 2 tables she offered us on the porch. The table we would like to get was a same 2-seater table that was vacant in between the 2 tables she offered us. She could have said nicely, "I am sorry this table is not available". Instead, she yelled and said "I said this or that table". A few minutes after we sat down, my wife went to the restroom at saw the hostess again at the doorway. She stopped my wife and accused that she didn't see our reservation and thinking that we lied to her. My wife had to guide her to find our reservation and she did. There were still plenty of vacant tables on the porch that time and I am not sure why she still gave us a hard time even though we had an actual reservation through OpenTable. We were excited as this was our first time dining there but we got very upset by the way the hostess treated us at the beginning. We both felt discriminated as we were the only Asian guests dinning there that morning. Other than that, the food and other serving staff were excellent and we even left close to a 20% tip at the end. Hope the restaurant management would take action on the above matter. They should also check the CCTV on what's going on between 10:50 am and 11:30 am on Sunday, 9/8/24 when the above incidents took place on the porch and at hostess area inside.

My wife and I always enjoy eating at Valley Green. We enjoy the park and believe we get value for our money. As an observation, service tends to be much better in the evenings.

Great menu with a range of options. They have great salads and the Hot Chicken sandwich is wonderful. There's also a good cocktail menu.

We dined at Valley Green on Labor Day. Both the manager and Shannon were friendly, humorous, and attentive. Shannon in particular was helpful with menu questions and made sincere suggestions about the dishes she loved. She was so much fun, we wanted to invite her to sit down at our table and join the party. The entrees served were delicious. Everyone in my party was happy. I definitely will bring a group of family and friends again.

Had a lovely birthday lunch on the porch. The hummus and truffle fries to start were very generous and yummy. We were a little rushed because of a wedding happening that afternoon but our waitress was attentive and not pushy at all. The waitress did get one item wrong -brought filet mignon egg rolls instead of medallions but it was good so we did not change. it's a beautiful setting and lovely food. Will return.
