The Valley Green never disappoints. The area is gorgeous! The food is amazing! And the staff are top notch. Our server was Irena, she was a doll! But everyone we interacted with gave us wonderful service.

Location, location is everything. So wonderful that an important piece of Wissahickon Valley history is still alive. My 11 year old granddaughter was thrilled our experience. I have been enjoying Valleys Green my whole life.

Ordered the Korean BBQ wings and our server brought us Buffalo. When I pointed it out, she said she rang it in correctly but would ask the chef ( without taking the order back to the kitchen). Came back and told us that those WERE the Korean BBQ wings. Everything else was fine, but there were three experienced wing eaters at the table that didn’t appreciate being gaslit by a teenager and a chef in the kitchen who never even checked what they sent out. All good otherwise, and can’t beat the location, but it was a completely unnecessary annoyance.

Have been going there for years. There is a problem, the Road from Chestnut Hill area is now closed. Had to go back up to Germantown Pike down to Phila. area and work our way down a poor crater road. Not easy. It will be that way from June for the next 5 months.

All four lunch items were excellent... burger, crabcake (my wife's a hard judge, she's from MD and makes them herself), harvest salad, and turkey club. Some noise from nearby construction, but overall very pleasant out on the porch, weekday so not as much foot/bike traffic. Walked a few miles on the path afterwards, always pleasant... we took friends who'd never been, they said it was hard to believe this tranquil a spot exists within a large city like Philadelphia.

Our table in the fireplace room was ready when we arrived. A beautiful place to have brunch! The food was superb, service great and it was easy to have conversations!
