    $3 for a “large”ice cube and $2 up charge for basic bourbon in an already $14 old fashioned. ridiculous

    Waitress was rude and condescending as only 1 of our party of 4 was drinking alcohol. Otherwise everything was fine. Great food as usual. Rafael does a great job!

    It was a very nice clean place. The food was delicious. It is rather small and the tables are close together so you could hear conversations at other tables. Our server was very dry, she did not smile or make an attempt to be friendly.

    Always a nice place for dinner. The service was fine. The food was just average. Chicken Alfredo portion was split with my wife. I thought the portion was small and maybe a little over priced for pasta and chicken.

    This was our anniversary dinner and our first visit to Vaccarro’s Trattoria. As we entered the restaurant my wife tripped and almost fell due to the raised threshold of the front door. There is no warning sign posted letting you know that you need to be careful. We were immediately greeted by a smiling employee who saw my wife trip and said, “That happens all the time!” (I failed to see the humor in that since my wife recently had a total knee replacement and is still healing!). Our reservation was for 5:00 p.m. and we were seated immediately… in chairs that had backs that were over 6ft. tall and were difficult to move and get comfortable in! We placed our order with the server and we a little disappointed to know that the main meal did not include a salad. I ordered chicken linguini alfredo and my wife ordered angel hair pasta and a side order of squash and zucchini. Our food was delivered to our table (by a different server) 25 minutes later. My wife’s angel hair was covered with a lot of sauce which is something that she likes. (Her vegetables were brought to the table about 15 minutes later and we were both shocked to see what a small portion was given for the additional $7.00 charge!) My pasta was cooked perfectly and the alfredo sauce was very good. I expected that the chicken would be cut into small pieces or strips, but instead was one large, thick piece of chicken. When I cut into the chicken it was pink and uncooked. Neither server ever came by to check on us to see if we needed anything as we ate our meal. I finally got to tell and show my server that the chicken was not cooked thoroughly and she did apologize. I asked her for a “to go” container so I could take it home and finish cooking it myself. This evening was supposed to be special for us and I was a little disappointed that it wasn't.

    Our first time there, for our anniversary. Wasn't sure what to expect and had everything pleasantly meet or exceed what we hoped for. Kudos to the staff, all of which were pleasant and helpful.

    Had a great family dinner, including two granddaughters (9 & 7). Always a great time at Vaccaro’s.
