Les propriétaires, Susan et Ben Roberts, associés aux frères Wes et Chris Wheeler depuis 2015, vous invitent à profiter de leur cuisine américaine contemporaine dans laquelle ils utilisent des techniques de cuisine française classique teintées d'influences de partout dans le monde. Leur programme de boissons comprend un bar complet, de merveilleuses bières artisanales locales et une carte des vins de 150 bouteilles avec + de 50 vins offerts au verre pour lesquels Undercurrent a été reconnu à la fois par Wine Spectator et Wine Enthusiast. Undercurrent s'est systématiquement classé parmi les meilleurs dans leur catégorie de restaurants. L'ambiance est vraiment l'une des meilleures de la région et vous disposez d'un grand espace lors des repas. Le restaurant compte désormais une terrasse vraiment fabuleuse. Thank you for outstanding service rendered to support our 2025 Galentine luncheon! It was the first time for three of us visiting your fabulous restaurant. Our waiter, Scott made the experience quite memorable as he executed exquisite service. The entire experience was 5 stars from booking the reservation and having to modify shortly after, to the inviting welcome received by all. The time was perfect as our table was spot on and tucked intimately away which allowed us to fellowship comfortably with each other. The food was delicious, and the choices were great. The clam chowder soup was scrumptious, and our meals all received ten fingers up. The chicken sandwich was moist, and I was allowed to garnish non-traditionally with toppings to my taste. I will certainly return to this fabulous establishment, and I hope Scott is working when I do.

I started with the Lobster and Shrimp Spring Rolls with soy-ginger based. Perfect match, but I would’ve preferred a bit more seafood. My date had the spinach salad which was fabulous! Next I had the confit duck leg which was perfect, so tender and flavorful. My date had bacon wrapped trout, a special for the evening. That too was so delicious. I paired my dish with Sauvignon Blanc about which the waiter was quite knowledgeable and patiently explained the nuances of the brands they had. Service was very good, our waiter was very busy. Ambience is quaint and classy and the noise level was quiet. Dessert? Get the white chocolate wild blueberry bread pudding.

A Greensboro institution. Delicious food. Extensive wine list. Superb service. Quiet but not overly so. Muted decor. Tables are far enough apart to avoid awkward encounters. I had the duck confit and my husband had the osso bucco. Generous portions. The lobster and crab egg rolls are a popular appetizer and deservedly so. And they have tasty warm bread. Will definitely return.

Such a disappointment. We had the duck leg and the daily special which was grouper with rice. Duck was good and wife really enjoyed it. I was unable to eat my grouper. It was seared into Jerky and I have tasted better rice from a rice a roni box. Talked to the manager, who did take it off the bill and offered to make me something else. However, by time they came over, wife was done with her dinner, so we left. Overall, we wont be back.

Great place for good for and drink. Downtown location was walkable so no issues with parking. I had a perfectly cooked medium rare steak - excellent.
