Le Uli est un restaurant de White Rock. Ouvert en 1986 par Uli Blume, il a été l'un des premiers établissements de bord de mer de White Rock et est rapidement devenu un favori parmi les locaux pour son excellente cuisine et son atmosphère conviviale. Le fils de Uli Tyson a repris l'entreprise en 2008 là où son père avait laissée pour continuer dans la même veine - fournir au bord de mer de White Rock un endroit amusant et détendu qui propose une atmosphère vibrante, une magnifique vue sur l'eau, une nourriture simple et rafraîchissante, un vaste choix de bières internationales et une sélection variée de vins. La chef Jennie Silk fait également forte impression auprès des locaux puisque ces derniers affluent dans ce restaurant pour déguster les plats impeccables à saveurs locales qui figurent au menu.

Always great food! Favorite burger ever!!! Last night server wonderful as well ( usually the case). Literally have NEVER had a bad meal there!

Their renowned burger was way too expensive ($30) and the patty was bland. Even the restaurant wasn't full, we had to wait almost 20mins for the waitress to take our order and even longer for the food to arrive. Not worth it.

Great food! Schnitzel is authentically German - good portion sizes…we were seated promptly and the service was amazing- friendly and food was prepared quickly- overall great experience

Man discuss took an hour to come, felt a little too long but they comped us a starter and dessert was a nice gesture. Staff was friendly, food good.

Schnitzelfest! Menu offers something for everyone. The food is fresh & delicious. The service is prompt & friendly. We had a great table on the patio overlooking the water on a sunny Thursday evening. Plan ahead & make a reservation. It's worth it!

Had a lovely meal last night. Our server, a woman with short hair and glasses was exceptional. She made our night, we had really wanted carpaccio and they had run out. She came through and surprised us with it and we were delighted. Burger Tuesday is our go to from now on.

Our server was very friendly, but delivery of our food was incredibly slow. We ordered a burrata appetizer for the table. In spite of the fact that it was one of the daily specials and required no cooking, we waited over 40 minutes for it. When our server came to check on us (30+ minutes after placing our order), she seemed confused that we had not yet been served. We received no explanation for the delay. The cheese was very dry and not good at all. We relayed this to our server who explained that this was the result of hot dry weather in Italy (which does not make sense). To her credit, she did remove the charge for this item from our bill. The entrees were fine (salmon, beef shank, chicken). We had not visited this restaurant in many years and it will probably be many years again before we return.

As new parents with a 2 year old, we don’t get to go out to dinner as much anymore. Uli’s has always been one of our favorites and after a 2 year hiatus it did not disappoint. The food is delicious, and the service is so wonderful. And we felt so welcomed with our child. We will definitely be back more often now.

Dean and his team were amazing hosts/servers. They were attentive and accommodating. The food is always great, so fresh and flavourful. Especially like the fresh tomatoes from Dean’s garden layered on the burrata cheese/pesta plate. There was a loud party of 7 next to us which made it difficult to enjoy my time with my date but we made the best of it enjoying the view of the White Rock Pier and ocean from our patio table. Its my 3rd time at Uli’s and each experience is better than the last. Prices for wine by the glass are a little high and the food prices are above average but the chef, bartenders and serving staff always do a great job so I don’t mind coming here occasionally.
