   The food and service are consistently good. The noise was louder than usual and it was difficult to heard my dining companion.

   Enjoyed the Tuscarora staples: spring rolls, bacon wrapped shrimp and the Shrimp & Grits entree. Each were prepared to perfection.

   Not sure why this place is so popular. The food has no flavor and requires salt. We ordered the Duck Breast and Creole Fish which both lacked flavor and were dry. We also ordered the house Old fashioned which was made with low grade bourbon and tons of ice. I wouldn’t go back.

   Went to dinner with our friends who came from DC. Reservations for 6pm. Two tables clearly available on main level. They waited to seat us in the basement where we ended up waiting an hour for them to take our order (only after I excused myself to complain to the manager about the service… the manager was very attentive and actually followed me down the stairs to our room (I didn’t know it at the time.) he talked to the waiter, who I watched make a round around the small room of 4 tables before exiting without interacting with any table…. 5 minutes later comes back in and took our order. Once we got our food, it was great, but disappointing that this was the service we got to show our dear friends from the city who traveled all that way. We just moved out here and realized, Tuskies cannot compete with the elegance and class of the top dc restaurant scene. (It’s a shame. Several years ago, we used Tuskies to host a special family event. I hope there was a good reason for such poor service.

   We attended for my spouses birthday. We were welcomed right in and led to a cozy table. They customized the menus and gave us great service from beginning to end. Bison and duck were yummy and the portions were very generous! We will be back with more family for sure. Thank you!
