Amazing food with options for herbivores, carnivores, and everyone in between. Our server was incredible. We would have liked to have been given a choice about whether to sit inside or outside but they were quick to turn on the heater to help with the chill. Everything was delicious and we will be back!

There were 6 of us. The food was either over or under spiced. The server was terrific but service was so slow. It took 40 minutes for food to come out. Won’t go back

I was absolutely blown away by the flavors and freshness of their dishes. The spaghetti squash casserole was a standout—rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Each bite was a delightful blend of savory goodness with a hearty, satisfying texture. It’s a must-try for anyone looking for a healthy yet indulgent meal. The butternut squash pizza was equally impressive. The crust was thin and crispy, complementing the sweet, roasted butternut squash and fresh toppings. It had the perfect balance of flavors, making it a unique and delicious take on pizza. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff was attentive, and the overall experience was top-notch. True Food is now one of my favorite spots in San Diego for wholesome and flavorful dining. Highly recommended!

Our waiter Brady was wonderful. Food was great. The experience at the bar before eating was not good. Very hard to get the bartenders attention. Seems like they intentionally avoided eye contact.

Food is always good at this location and their service is great! We love their charred cauliflower, ancient grain bowls, hamburgers and expresso martinis.

As True Foods account members, we were offered a fixed price fall preview of new menu items including 3 starters, a choice of entree, dessert, and a flight of margaritas. The Chinese chicken salad and hot sliders were outstanding, as was the chicken Parmesan entree. The other three people at our table ordered the beef tenderloin and seemed satisfied, but somewhat envious of the chicken Parmesan. Of the three margaritas I preferred the sweet blood orange margarita, while my partner preferred the spicy pineapple margarita. The pomelo grapefruit margarita lacked flavor. The staff was very attentive and accomodating to special requests. They served non alcoholic margarita flights for two other members at our table as per their special request. They were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu items.
