First time at True Food, it has many options for all lifestyles. I had the tuna appetizer and the seared tuna for dinner. The pizzas looked good, the vegan options looked great, everything appealed to me. We were with a large group and the server did great! The atmosphere was great and new, clean and definitely would be back.

Our server, the staff at the host stand were all good. However we were seated outside and not told the restaurant patio allows smoking so the table next to us was smoking a cigarette while we were dining and it really took away from the ambiance and left a bad taste in our mouths, quiet literally. It also caused a few of us to cough while trying to finish our meals. I inquired with the host staff, but they informed me there were no restrictions against cigarette smoke during dinner in the outside dining room. We had to take the rest of our meals to-go.

We were a party of seven with a variety of tastes and nutritional requirements, all of which were catered for by the True Food Kitchen. The menu offered a wide selection. The service was outstanding, even though the wait for meals to arrive seemed overly long, but it was a busy Friday night with to-go orders poring in online.

Dinner was good and service was good but the bartenders wanted to socialize with each other, was not good at cleaning up after people left and not very friendly.

I have eaten at True Food many times, and have never been disappointed with my meal. This time, I ordered the Korean glass noodle bowl, and added grilled chicken to the order. The flavors in the bowl were fantastic- super tasty and fresh. The problem was that the grilled chicken tasted like little pieces of shoe leather- dry and chewy. I had to soak them in the sauce of the bowl to be able to chew and swallow them. I would definitely go back, I just wouldn’t order chicken again.

Experienced terrible service this morning while seated outside. I asked our waitress an allergy question. She forgot about it. I asked her again after the entrée came out. She said what question? Then she went back to the kitchen and came back and gave me a suspicious answer given the menu description. I said are you sure? She said “I don’t know what to tell you dawg. That’s what the kitchen told me“. She said she’d go back and check with the kitchen. She came back and apologized that she heard them wrong. It was just a total disregard for a simple allergy question. In addition, our plates were never cleared nor did we ever get water while for our meal. I usually enjoy true food, but the service today was terrible and took away from the experience.

Unfortunately we sat outside, by the gate entrance so everytime someone would leave or come in they would slam the gate which was annoying after the 2nd time. Don't put a table there if there's no control to the gate. Unfortunately, my friend and I were annoyed as well as the people at the table in front of me.

I always come here. Food is always great but unfortunately this time around we ended up getting up and leaving. We got seated and waited 20mins for a waiter. No one ever came (even though they walked by us several times) so we ended up going somewhere else. It was just 1 bad experience out of all the great other ones we’ve had at true food. It was just disappointing.
