This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but unfortunately it’s been going downhill for about a year now. Tonight for example, we went for happy hour/dinner and there were just a lot of issues. First, we ordered the cauliflower appetizer and were told they were out of cauliflower. Given that the happy hour menu is limited to start with, this was disappointing especially since cauliflower is any easy ingredient to source. Second, the server brought two waters for a table of three and said she’d return with the third but didn’t very quickly. My mom ordered a glass of wine and the server brought an empty glass but never came back with the wine. When I caught her attention as she was walking past and asked about it, instead of just apologizing and going to get it, she told me it’s just her and the manager doing everything. No apology, and quite frankly not my problem. It was 4:30 so the restaurant wasn’t especially busy but perhaps they aren’t staffing properly. Still, it was evident that she simply forgot to go get it. Then the cup of soup I ordered came out with my meal instead of it being timed to arrive beforehand. The food was fine, but initially the restaurant had a really clean menu with many more vegetarian and vegan selections. Many of the better items were dropped entirely (like the chicken sausage pizza and burrito bowl and some of the better salads) and some have changed in how they are prepared. They now highlight an air-crisped chicken that I’ve tried twice and was soggy both times. It seems some of these changes started right after the chain was bought out but I don’t see any truly positive additions other than having a better choice of sides ( previously it was just kale salad or sweet potato hash). We’ve also noticed the servers aren’t as well trained as they used to be. On the visit before last, the server couldn’t answer questions about the menu and before that, the server told us we couldn’t use two gift cards in the same transaction.

We were sat down, but didn’t get served for more than 30 mins. We asked 3x before anyone came. Several people, about 4 tables, that came after, were served first. They were not well managed.

Service was soooo slow. Understaffed? Maybe. Bit not busy either. Server was doing everything. Not even a busboy or bartender. Just one guys trying to do it all. Poor management. But, food took a long time to arrive and the FIRST plate arrived cold!It was claimed that it couldn’t be reheated but had to prepare new plate. It was claimed it would get priority but it took just as long!! Verbatim my order: meatloaf to share, a side simple salad ($4.00) and got an entree simple salad ($14.00!!). Food subpar. I cook better. Won’t be going back!

Food was pretty mid, nothing terrible, but nothing stood out. We had a salad that was over-dressed, two fried chicken sandwiches - the Nashville Hot was ok but the Korean BBQ was too sweet. The Kale-aid and coffee were great.

Also, and the waitress went out of their way to ensure that we had a pleasant and extraordinary experience. They even surprise me with a little birthday dessert, which was incredible, and just icing on the cake for it truly fantastic experience. Plus, the patio was extra heated, which is Pleasant compared to other places where I’ve sat outside during the winter.

The service was awful, first we were given a seat near the entrance but there’s a lot of vacant seats, we asked to be seated to our favorite seat 2nd we waited so long for the server to come, I asked the host why our server is taking so long knowing that they were not not busy at that time, they even accommodated the two guest who came after us, 3rd finally the server came and asked for what we would like to drink but he was taking the menu from us while asking what we want 4th I ordered the grilled grass fed tenderloin I requested for medium well the meat has an awful smell and it’s too dry but I ate it anyways because I was so hungry and that was our first meal for that day. I always go to True food you can tell from my reservations record but this is the first time I encountered this kind of service. I am very disappointed.
