El lugar me encanta y es la segunda vez en esta semana q voy, pero el servicio en esta ocasión fue muy malo…..la mesa sucia…no nos pusieron cubiertos ni servilletas y al final, parecía q les urgía q nos pagáramos y nos fuéramos Tal vez xq era domingo

I hope most of the group enjoyed their food. This is a nice restaurant, but the crab cake was one of the worst I’ve ever had. It was dry and overcooked. The rice side dish was watery and should be taken off the menu. The collards were okay but as a down south favorite they could be much better. Come on South City Kitchen!!! Do better.

My niece arrived early for my birthday celebration. She said no one acknowledged her or checked in with her until we arrived. She was clearly upset because upon her arrival the hostess had been extremely rude. It really put a damper on my celebration. So much so, she said if we weren’t celebrating my birthday she would have left. I asked to see the manager to make her aware. She wanted to know how the waitress being rude. ( as if that really mattered) however my niece was to shy and irritated to further address the situation. The manager could have validated her concern regardless because as a manager you want your guests to feel welcomed when they arrived. I pray that others don’t have a similar experience. Our waitress on the otherhand, was lovely and helped to make our first food experience here very nice.
