Tavernti Pizza

Our pizza is different from other pizza. Our recipe for pizza dough originated in Calabria, Italy over 100 years ago. It had been passed down from generation to generation, until it was brought here to Canada by Mrs. Rosina Taverniti. Our pizzas are cooked in a stone oven just like how it was done in Calabria. Our thin crust pizza stays firm and crispy, all the way to the last bite. From the classic Margherita to our unique Gorgonzola. Our Calabrese style pizzas are something we've been proud of since day one

Italian food at its best… its in the Sauce.. Very tasty… . Gnocchi was sooo good.. I love more gorgonzola .. burrata salad satisfying.. balsamic vinegar, basil, can’t go wrong. I will definitely return.. Bravo🎉💕

Food and service was great. All but one table open when we arrived, yet they sat us in front of the door which let lots of cold air in when people came in and out. Perhaps fill tables further away. We should have asked to move. Needed to keep our jackets on the whole dinner. Whole place seemed cold. They had space heaters on

The food was to die for. Only down side was the cold breeze from the door opening/closing because it’s such a small space. HOWEVER - literally every other aspect makes up for it. The food was exceptional. The vibes were immaculate. The drinks were amazing.

We were shown to our table right away. The waiting staff were attentive, the food was very good, the wine excellent. The place was bustling and overall enjoyable experience. We will be back again.

Definitely a place to eat. Amazing food with many choices. Really tastes like authentic Italian food. Will definitely be returning

We arrived almost 40min before our reservation. Driving from over 2hrs away we aware unsure of the traffic as we were attending a show at the royal theatre. The staff greeted us and were able to take us early as we waited for our other guests to arrive. Staff were excellent and friendly, only thing I would say it is took them a little while to bring us water or ask us if we wanted a drink, not a huge deal. We had Calamari which were crispy and the tomato sauce dip was like home, bruschetta was very good, the Caesar salad was pretty standard as well. For mains we had 2 pizzas which were fantastic! The penne alla vodka and the rose sauce were excellent as well. Wine was good. Homemade tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had in the World and that’s honest. Espressos were also very good. This is a great place for a casual night out, dinner with family or friends, or just a regular meal. Food was excellent, service throughout the experience was excellent, and the ambience had a real home like feel to it. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. 5 stars all day.

A great venue!! Cozy, homey ambiance supported by authentic Italian music. Food was fantastic, great plentiful choices. Services was relaxed, friendly and attentive. Venezia was wonderful. We are planning our next visit!
