Born in Naples, Italy Salvatore DiMeo has continued on the family tradition of cooking traditional neopolitan fare of the highest quality at moderate prices. Originating in 1969, Trattoria DiMeo has been serving the Roslyn area for 50 years!

Very good food. Serice is strange— a different waiter comes over to help you for different things and it gets confusing and not what a diner wants or expects. If you ask for something and prefer some things , and tell one waiter the other waiter pretends to have no idea what you’re talking about. also brough out all the food at the same time. Felt rushed to turn over the table. Are we dining or just eating ?!?!?!? All in all : Good food Bad service and Rushed

Always a good time at trattoria di meo. Dependable and delicious. We’ve been coming for over 40 years. That should say it all!

We had a great evening with friends. Our reservations were honored, the service was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. We shared several appetizers - all good and nice sized portions. For entrees : several had the halibut special - yum; one had a very generous chicken cacciatore, one had veal ). We have been there numerous times and will most definitely return again.

Dinner was wonderful. Food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was attentive but not intrusive. Place is very popular for very good reasons.

Exceptional meal. We eat out all the time and by far our favorite Italian in Roslyn/Manhasset. Service was great too! The menu is so unique. I recommend the tuna appetizer or warm kale salad. Dinner-we love the fish specials and bolognese. We will be back on Saturday to celebrate a Birthday-can’t wait!

Good food, poor indoor seating areas - uncomfortable- very crowded / tables too close together- one bathroom upstairs a hike. Service was too quick , felt we were rushed because of people waiting for tables
