It's been 20+ years since I've been to a Trader's Vic so my last known experience back then was very good.... However, this trip didn't come close to what I remember. The food was overcooked, and dry and wasn't to the level I remember or should be for the competition. The band was a nice touch but very loud, and the music had nothing to do with the restaurant's theme. The price value was good but I think I'll wait another 20 years for my next visit.

Trader Vic’s Atlanta: An Iconic Treasure! Trader Vic’s Atlanta never disappoints! This was our third visit in a row, and once again, it was an absolutely amazing experience. Despite the bustling crowd, we received everything we ordered, and the slight delay turned into a bonus, giving me time to explore the giant tiki temple and capture some incredible photos of the unique and iconic decor. This place is truly a treasure in Atlanta—a must-visit for anyone who loves a one-of-a-kind dining and drinking experience. If you visit, do yourself a favor: grab a strong rum drink (you won’t be disappointed) and treat yourself to something mouthwatering from the Chinese ovens—it’s the ultimate combo of flavor and flair. A huge shoutout to the dynamic duo behind the bar and the phenomenal Tempest and Destiny, who took exceptional care of us every single night. Their warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail elevated our evenings to something unforgettable. Trader Vic’s continues to shine with its signature charm, unbeatable ambiance, and outstanding service. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a spot you absolutely can’t miss. While I’m generally a fan of Trader Vic’s, my experience at the Atlanta location left much to be desired. While the decor was impressive and captured the signature ambiance, unfortunately, that was the only highlight. The food and drinks were disappointing, and while the service was decent, the overall experience simply didn’t justify the cost. To be fair, it was an exceptionally busy night, which may have contributed to the issues, but it still fell far short of expectations. I hesitated to post a negative review, but I feel it’s worth mentioning in the hopes that the team can address these concerns and improve the experience for future guests.

The drinks were mediocre, we left one undrunk behind. The food was fine but overpriced, except for the desert. A bland creme brulee that wasn't crisp on top and was instead covered with slime goo. We asked the waiter if they'd forgotten to flambee it, he took it to the kitchen, and it came back worse. We didn't eat it and he didn't notice or offer to remove it from our tab. All this might have been alright if the atmosphere had been great, but instead we were in a very cold side room with conference chairs and stock tablecloths. It was in no way worth the price tag.

Great experience!! Loved the environment! Food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Chryslin was amazing and made our dinner fun and enjoyable. Would recommend if you are looking for something completely different. Great drink menu!

2nd visit. What a great time, decor is fabulous as are the drinks. Order something from the Chinese ovens! I wanted to shout out to Tempest and Destiny. They were so accommodating and nice. They held our table longer so we could spend more time in the bar having those wonderful rum drinks and soaking in the magic that is Trader Vic’s Atlanta.

Wow. Can’t say enough about this legendary location. This place is a time capsule. Drinks were amazing. Ambiance and decor is amazing. The staff was amazing. And most of all the food is amazing. We will be back!

Sam was very helpful and kind. The whole fried fish was absolutely delicious. The sweet chili sauce had a nice touch of coconut in it. Will come again.
