To pay $500 for 2 people for valentines dinner and then both spend all night hugging toilets wjth dood poisoning…ugh

Wildly overpriced food. Fillet mignon was tough, foie gras was over cooked and obviously a low grade of the product. Service was poor, notably the timing of the meal was off which ended up in a long break in the food initially and then two courses rushed back to back because they wanted us out. The one upside, and the only thing keeping this place in business, is the view - it’s spectacular.

Our muscles and clams wher undercooked we couldnt eat most of it our king crab legs wher over cooked and cold and my filet mignon was over done,

Went for their Valentine Day pre-set 3 course dinner. Nowhere did they say what the pre-set menu was so we had no idea what was being offered. They posted their set price everywhere though. Food was good, but the price charged was for great food - it was not ‘great’ food. It was as if this was the server’s first time being a sever - not particularly attentive and no personality. Ambiance was excellent and the views unparalleled. That and my beautiful valentine made the evening. Overall, did not feel this was good value for money. We paid close to $500 for two of us and it did not measure up. Was good to experience Top of Vancouver but would not be in a hurry to go back.

The experience was great, the view was excellent, the service was amazing, but the food was a little under flavored for the price we paid. The burrata had little flavor and the Gnocchi didn’t have the right texture. We paid $400 for dinner and I probably would never do that again.

For Valentine's dinner, the restaurant was configured differently. The high density of tables at the window. It was too tight, not intimate. The food was excellent (as usual). The servers had too many tables to serve, so service was okay given the circumstances, but I have had better service at Deny's. Lastly, a person was walking around with a tablet, watching each table; I am guessing this was to check that we stayed within the table turn time, but do you have to make it so obvious? I know it's a big restaurant, but the ambiance felt like I was on a factory floor. We ordered two drinks each from the set menu; the bill was ~$500 (On other visits to this restaurant, we spent ~$350). We will return, but not on special occasions like Valentine's.
