It's been years since I've been and probably be years before I return. Food has definitely changed seems everything is over or under cook

Arrived for dinner for two at approximately 5pm. Ordered a whole lobster and a seafood platter. Upon arrival I tried to remove some lobster from the lobster shell and to my unpleasant surprised the lobster meat was frozen. After trying to crack the shell with the provided hammer the lobster was hard like a tick. After trying to use my fork to loosen the lobster meat. The fork was bent trying I tried using the knife to cut through the lobster meat and that failed. Again I used another fork to remove the lobster meat from the shell and the knife was also bent. I went to reports this to the manager who came with to the table and the waiter has removed the plate. Fortunately he did not take the fork which I showed the manager and he was surprised. After explaining to the manager that the lobster was frozen he apologize while waiter I fixated it was only a bit cold. When I showed him the fork he did not say anything. The manager quickly apologized and took the cost of the seafood platter off. Needless to say the experience was extremely disappointing. Fortunately my guest ordered a whole lobster which was well prepared…. and not frozen. Note: To the waiter who came and said it was only cold. He should have checked with the kitchen and brought out another seafood platter and see if it was just cold or frozen like a rock. Being a regular customer I was absolutely disappointed in the experience and appreciated the managers apologies.

I had the blackened mahi mahi. The food was sooo good and sitting outside watching the sunset over the Potomac was lovely. Highly recommend!

Great location right by the water and the boardwalk, restaurant has so much potential. Mediocre food, both fish dishes overcooked. Feels like a cheap diner

Place was “fine”. Nothing special. Beautiful views of the Potomac throughout the restaurant. Excellent and friendly service. I was a little let down by the flavor of the food. Relatively bland. Clam Chowder was watery and extremely salty. Otherwise fun atmosphere and reasonably priced considering the location.

What we thought was going to to be a great Anniversary Dinner turned out to be a mess. It took 45 min to receive our cocktails. We asked for them to be served before our appetizer’s. Unfortunately, 45 min later they arrived at the same time, then so did our main meal. We asked to return the main meal until we completed our apps. After the waitress completely ignored us during that time, we decided to cancel our dinner and left. An utterly disappointed dinner. The manager was clueless and didn’t do much to help the situation. Don’t bother going.

Our chilled seafood platter was very very good. The service was lackluster. Our drinks were served in plastic cups. We asked for a highball glass and the waiter did not know what that was. I indicated we were celebrating a birthday on the reservation and nothing special was done.
