Une visite à San Francisco ne serait pas complète sans une étape au Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar. Ce restaurant a été constamment primé pour proposer la « Meilleure Happy Hour de San Francisco » par le San Francisco Magazine, le San Francisco Bay Guardian et plus récemment, le Where Magazine. Le Tonga Room sert une cuisine polynésienne exceptionnelle dans un cadre tropical avec tonnerre et pluie torrentielle. Il offre une escapade parfaite après une longue journée de réunions ou de shopping le long de l'Union Square. Ne manquez pas de goûter son cocktail Mai Tai, élu le meilleur de la ville par le Condé Nast Traveler. Les réservations sont prises uniquement pour le souper. L'Hurricane Bar et l'Happy Hour sont disponibles selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi. Un droit d'entrée s'applique après 20h00, quelle que soit votre heure d'arrivée. Le tarif est le suivant : - 7 USD par personne le mercredi, le jeudi et le dimanche - 10 USD par personne le vendredi et le samedi.

We really enjoyed our experience. The entire staff we encountered were kind and welcoming. The food and drinks were delicious, fresh and served promptly. We also enjoyed the live band, very talented group.

I'd heard about the Tonga Room for ages, but had never been. We went there before a show at the Masonic Auditorium. Great food, great service and great ambiance. Love the pool that serves as a Polynesian Lagoon, and the intermittent "rain storms." Food prices were similar to others in San Francisco these days -- dinner entrees from $28 to $44 dollars. Good variety of appetizers. Service was quick. Drinks were festive and fun. Would go again. It is a fun place! It's best if you can make a reservation.

Food was good. Service wasn’t the greatest. Server took 15 mins to take our drink order, then about another 15-20 mins to come back and take our food order after dropping off drinks. Band was great! Probably would not go again but it was a decent 1st experience.

The atmosphere is great and band is a blast. The food is terrible and super overpriced. We’ve been a few times now and always have dinner. And immediately regret it. Recommend go for an overpriced drink and pay the $15 pp to see the band. Eat anywhere else in town.

Menu is very limited and very expensive for what you’re getting. You’re definitely paying for the atmosphere which is tiki kitschy and fun though we had to ask them to “make it rain”

we enjoyed our dinner experience at the Tonga room. it’s very unique. the food was not bad. i highly recommend it for a fun place to try in SF!

Great dinner experience, from the band in the boat in the water to the thunderstorms and rain. The drinks are delicious and strong, plenty of alcohol added. The food was great and overall excellent dinner experience. A little pricey, but worth it for the experience
